"Yeah, I'll tell you later."
"Okay?"
"Okay."
"Okay!" Grayson laughs.
"Oh no stop! Stop with that okay shit!" Ethan says holding his hands over his ears.
"What is his problem?" Lilly laughs.
"You seen the Fault in Our Stars?"
"Yeah."
"He cried!" Me and Grayson say in sink.
"Oh I'm definitely telling Grayson all your secrets now Amber!" He smirks sitting beside Lilly.
"That's okay, I got nothing to hide!"
"Not even the story about Dan-"
"STOP! Okay you win!"
"I love how you punish Amber and not Grayson!" Lilly giggles.
"You're stuffed now Amber." Grayson laughs.
"Shush!"
"It's not that bad of a story, like not embarrassing kind of bad." Ethan says seriously now.
"Uh I just don't want to hear it again." I look away.
"I was joking, I'm not that mean.."
"Oh, uh Dad wants me home soon." Lilly looks at Ethan.
"I'll drive, lets go!"
Ethan and Lilly get up and wave goodbye. Leaving me and Grayson alone.
"So you wanna tell what's wrong now?" Grayson says sitting forward on the couch.
"No.."
"Why not?"
"Um I just have stuff on my mind that's all.."
"So your mum calling me last night was nothing?"
"Wait, she called you?"
"Yep. Why else do you recon she changed her mind in letting you come here today?"
"Oh boy.."
"Do you not trust me or something? Because you said you were fine before I left."
"I do trust you. It's just I have to admit it to myself that something is wrong before I can admit it to someone else and I didn't want to admit it.."
"Well your mum said I could stay the night tonight. And I said yes!"
"Aww thanks but you don't have too."
"Oh no it's my pleasure!" Grayson laughs putting his arm around me, pulling me back gently so I'm leaning on the back of the couch.
"Right then.."
"Amber.. What are you doing tomorrow night?" I look at him and think.
"Well nothing that I know of why?"
"You wanna go for a hike?"
"Are joking?"
"No.."
"My mother won't let me hike Grayson."
"Well then we won't hike I'll carry you to the top or I'll drive."
"There's no fun for you then."
"You're company is the fun! So what do you say?"
"I mean I'm down but I'll ask mum later."
