D.va x Lucio|

   As the mission summary and strike commander alike had stated, the mission was suppossed to be easy. All the team of four would have to do was escort the payload down three different streets, traveling only about three or four blocks as they did so. They had sent Mei, Mcree, and Lucio with D.va. Not nessacary the perfect team but good enough for the task at hand.
    All was going well until Mcree fell off the payload. At first D.va thought he had just slipped or was messing around, but soon she soon noticed the dark liquid pooling around his abdomen. Lucio rushed over to help and D.va followed suit, providing cover for the two.
    So much for easy.
    "There's a sniper in the area!" Mei exclaimed as she pointed to the roof of a nearby building.
    "On it." D.va called. She flew up to the roof, quickly taking out the sniper with her meka. She was able to land safely on the ground before rushing over to Mcree. She exited her mech and kneeled next to Lucio and Mcree.
    "The bullet just grazed his skin. He'll need stitches but he's gonna be alright." Lucio reported, almost forgeting Mcree was even there.
     "Yea, thanks, bud. Thats real reassurin' and all but it still hurts like hell to move." Mcree spat, grabbing at his side. His hand was quickly covered in his own blood.
     "We need to call for backup." Mei said.
     "Lucio, what do you think?" D.va asked. "Can you get him up and moving?"
      "For you? Anything." Lucio flirted before pulling Mcree's hand from his side.
      "Aw, how romantic." Mcree mocked.
      "Mcree is just salty." D.va said,  turning towards Mei. "We need to be on high alert and keep him covered. If there was a sniper who knows who else is running around here."
      D.va's question was quickly answered as several Talon agents appeared from around the corner and opened fire.
      "Lucio, its an ambush!" D.va cried before jumping back into her mech. Lucio stood instantly, leaping over Mcree in order to keep the agents away.
     Mei shot back at the Talon agents without awaiting orders to do so, streams of ice freezing them in their tracks. D.va and Lucio followed suit, taking out the agents one by one.
     Eventually, after all the agents had fallen, D.va took control.
     "We need to get moving before they send back up. Lucio, do you think you can get Mcree on the payload or something?"
    Mcree scoffed at the idea. "Just 'cause I got shot don't mean 'm completely useless." He sat up with a loud groan before standing, holding his side once more. "I can walk mighty fine on my own."
   "Mcree, you don't have to prove anything." Mei objected.
    "Mei's right." Lucio added. "You can just sit on the payload, it's fine."
     Mcree fired his weapon at something just over Lucio's shoulder. Lucio jumped a good ten feet away as the bullet flew past him and into the skull of another Talon agent. "We have some more company." Mcree pointed out.
     About six or seven agents came pouring out of the nearby buildings, guns blazing as they did so. Mcree shot twice more before his arm gave out and he couldn't hold his gun up anymore.
     "Nerf this!" D.va yelled confidently before sending her meka into the center of the agents. Mei put up an ice wall in front of the team to protect them from the explosion then ducked. Lucio grabbed D.va's hand and pulled her away from the wall and closer to the payload.
    The ice wall shattered like glass right after the explosion. The agents had been blow to Timbuktu.
    "Gg," D.va said.
    "We have to get moving now." Lucio exclaimed. "No telling what's gonna happen next."
    "You're right." D.va agreed. "Let's move"
    They managed to make it to their destination, where about twenty more Talon agents waited.
    "You got to be kidding!" Lucio said before taking his aim.
    "Mei, you cover Mcree. Lucio, come with me!" D.va shouted over the choas. Mei jumped infront of the payload while Lucio rushed off after D.va.
   Even without her meka, D.va was a skilled fighter. She took out three men with one clip of ammunition. Lucio had punched one of the agents in the face before booping him away and shooting another.
    Suddenly out of the corner of her eye D.va caught Mei putting up an ice wall. It was just the distraction the Talon agents needed. The remaining few fighting D.va and Lucio retreated, leaving the five fighting Mei on their own.
    Lucio and D.va rushed over to help but hesitated once the ice wall fell. Almost immediately two agents went down, blocks of ice escaping their foreheads. The other three soon followed. Behind where the ice wall once was lied another six bodies.
    "Jesus Christ, Mei, are you sure you ain't got no held in anger." Mcree exclaimed horrified. He had seen the battle behind the ice wall unfold and it was terrifying to see such a sweet seeming girl kill multiple people with ice cubes.
   "Everything alright over here?" D.va asked. Mei nodded. Mcree  didn't dare to argue with her.
   "Looks like we reached the end of the road." Lucio pointed out.
   "Ya don't think they'll mind a little blood on the payload now, do ya?" Mcree joked as he stood. His hand was dripping wet with blood.
    "We... We should probably call Mercy..." Lucio said, starring at the blood. Mei made the call while D.va and Lucio sat with Mcree.
    "Hana, we really should hang out more outside of training and" Lucio hesitated as he gestured towards the wound he was trying his best to treat, "you know."
   "Aw, you got a crush on me or somethin'?" D.va smirked.
   "W-what! N-no!" Lucio said, blushing fiercely. "I mean, y-yes but- I"
   "Lol, I was just joking, bro." D.va said, laughing. "We should hang out sometime. How 'bout this Saturday?"
   "Wait, really?!"
   "I'd hate to ruin the mood and all, but 'm still bleeding out." Mcree said, bringing both D.va and Lucio back to reality. They gasped in embarrassment before returning their attention to helping the man.

     Once Mercy arrived on the scene she had Lucio lift Mcree onto a gurney while D.va and Mei lead the way back to the ship. The walk was relatively quiet; only the low groans of the injured Mcree and the murmurs of his doctor.
     When they all got to the ship, Mercy and Mei took Mcree to the medical dock. Lucio grabbed D.va's hand, making her stay rather than following the others. She turned to face Lucio, smiling smugly at his blush.
    "I-I... sorry, I just. I wanted to ask... did you really mean what you said back there? About.. actually wanting to hang out? I just... I don't know if it was like heat of the moment or if you..."
    D.va giggled a little. "You're so cute when your nervous," she said, making Lucio blush even further. "I really would wanna hang out whenever you have some free time."
  "What about this Saturday? Th-thats what you said earlier, right?"
    "Y-yeah. You free at three?" D.va asked, suddenly showing her nervousness as well, but only a little.
   "Of course!" Lucio exclaimed, basically yelling. D.va had to cover her mouth to stop herself from laughing while the pilot scolded Lucio for being so loud.
   "Sorry!" Lucio whispered up to the cockpit. He turned back to face D.va. "I-I didn't mean to be so loud..."
   "You kidding? That made me lol." D.va giggled. "You're funny, Lucio."
   "S-so you still wanna hang out this Saturday?" Lucio asked, as if he needed to hear the answer for a third time.
   "If you keep asking I might change my mind!" D.va predented to scold him. Luckily, he got the joke and laughed along with D.va.
    "Lucio! Mercy needs you in the medical dock!" Mei called. She pooked her head out from around the corner for a moment before heading back down the hallway she came from.
   Lucio began to run after her, but D.va stopped him. He turned on his heels and found himself wrapped up in a hug with the smaller woman. She whispered something but Lucio couldn't hear it. Before he could ask her to repeat what she said, he turned to face shouting voices from down the hall.
  Mcree was trying to walk around and neither Mei nor Mercy were strong enough to stop him. He was yelling that he was fine and they were yelling at him to lie down. If only Ana were here.
    "We should go help them..." Lucio's voice trailed of as he watch Mercy almost tackle Mcree, to no avail. D.va nodded before running to help the two women, and Lucio followed.

A/n woo, finally! Something that isn't Mchanzo (I have problems, ok!) I am thinking of writing a Genji x Mercy fanfic next. How do you even combine their names??? Gercy? Mernji? Genmsihrcsgavegdhebajdvercy???? Same thing with D.va and Lucio. Like???
