Gency/McHanzo|Ulimate Wingman Part 2

Hanzo was able to be released from the hospital wing a day before Genji. Angelia was glad. Things had been tense between the two since the conversation with Mcree. Angelia felt awkard whenever she had to check up on them. They would just sit in silence, refusing to talk to each other, when she left.

"So," Angelia said, a moment after Hanzo had left, "a double date, huh?"

Genji chuckled. "You do not have to go if you do not want to. I am sorry for inviting you without even asking if you wanted to attend."

"No no, its fine." Her lips lifted into a small smirk as she sat on a stool next to Genji's bed. "I kind of want to see how it all plays out."

"Are you sure that the only reason you are going?" Genji  asked, tilting his head. Angelia playfully hit him in the arm with her clipboard, making him laugh more. He reached up for her arms and held her close. "Hey! Its not very nice to hit."

"It is also not very nice to make such accusations." Angelia scolded, but she was giggling as well. She pushed away from him and back onto her stool with angelic grace.

"It was nothing more than a joke." Genji laughed. "I really just want Hanzo to be happy. I feel like he still hasn't forgiven himself for everything that happened."

"I'm sure he will be fine, Genji." Angelia said, placing one hand on the cyborg's shoulder. "It seems like he does have a bit of a crush on Mcree, even if he hides it well."

"Yeah." Genji said, a bit less cheerful. "Ten bucks says Hanzo ends up in Mcree's bed by the end of the night."

Angelia giggled. "You shouldn't gamble on such things. People really are unpredictable."

Genji was about to say something when Angelia got a call from her pager.

"Vello?" She said. "Oh? Oh! Ok! I'll be there right away!" She set her pager back in her pocket and rushed to her desk. She grabbed a first aid kit and her healing staff without so much as a goodbye.

Genji sat alone, chuckling to himself. Angelia often forgot to say goodbye when she got flustered.

When Angelia returned she was supporting Junkrat with one arm and holding his waist with the other as he limped in. Both Mei and Roadhog followed her in. Genji practically jumped out of bed to help. He had helped Angelia lift her injured teammates onto gurneys and medical beds many times before while he spent lots of time in the hospital wing during his Blackwatch days.

"What happened?" Genji asked. Junkrat's arm was bending the entirely wrong way and he was bitting down on his lip to keep him from screaming in pain.

Roadhog responded, but Genji couldn't understand a word he said from under his mask. Mei pushed him to the said and began to explain.

"Jamison was trying to get to the top of the base with his land mine, but he sort of... fell." The small woman spoke fast, sounding rather worried.

"Ey, Shelia, don't sell me short." Junkrat said, pointing a disfigured finger towards Mei. Her face turned pale as she cover her mouth. "I made up to that roof and I was a king for a mightly three seconds!"

Roadhog had said something esle totally incoherent.

"Potatoe, tomatoes." Junkrat said, waving his unbroken arm dismissively.

"Thats not even the proper phrase!" Mei yelled.

"Why didn't you two try to stop him?" Angelia asked.

"He wouldn't listen to me!" Mei said, her face flushing a little with anger. Roadhog simply shrugged. He had given up on trying to stop Junkrat's little stunts a while ago.

"Genji, why don't you go ahead and head back to your room?" Angelia said in the mist of the choas. It was more of a friendly command than a request.

"Are you sure you will be okay here?" Genji asked, gesturing to the scene unfolding. Mei seemed very annoyed and Junkrat returned the emotion. Roadhog was just very indifferent.

"Yes, I will be fine." Angelia was close to pushing Genji out the door. "I'll see you on Friday."

"I will see you then." Genji said before exiting.

He made it half way down the hall before hearing the door open again. He turned to see Mei and Roadhog both stumbling out of the hospital wing, Roadhog still indifferent and Mei still very angry. Genji couldn't help but laugh as they went their separate ways without another word. Angelia was small, but she did not hesitate to use what strength she had to help her patients.
