"What the fuck are you doing?! Untie her!" Castillo spat at one of his henchmen angrily.
I wasn't sure where we were, or what day it was. Castillo had blind folded me on our way to wherever we were. I was still blind folded, and tensed up when I felt my zip tie being cut off.
"I still can't see your lunatic ass, baby." I purred.
Castillo snatched my blindfold down, the first thing I saw was his grinning face. "Still so cocky princesa. Even with another bastard's seed growing inside you. You might wanna ease up eh? Wouldn't want anything bad to happen."
I bit my tongue momentarily. I wasn't gonna let Castillo scare me, "It's too bad it's not yours. You were taking too long to man the fuck up and do it your self."
His eyes held sharp rage before they cleared right up, "I don't suppose you've picked out a name yet?"
"I'm not even sure of the gender yet," I leaned back, "I'm pregnant as fuck. What does a bitch have to do to get a decent meal around here?"
Castillo gave me a smirk that sent chills up my spine, "Of course. Zion, tell them that our guest is hungry."
The man next to him left the tiny room we were holed up in, leaving us alone.
I traced my lips with the tip of my tongue, "What's your plan Castillo? Make it past the border, continue with this goofy shit, endlessly torture me?"
All this time I'd wondered what was different about him, and now I could finally pin point it.
He wasn't dressed in an expensive suit.
His hair was a little wild, beard unshaven. Instead he was wearing a white button down, jeans, and tan loafers.
"You're partially correct princesa. Except for when we make it past the border I'm going to have us settle one a nice mansion somewhere in the richest part of the city. Forget this drug shit."
I creased my brows,"Scuse me?"
"While I've been hunting you, I've also been getting things aligned. I've left my empire to
someone I can trust sweetheart, I need to lie low."I narrowed my eyes, "left it to who?" My eyes widened as I realized who he was talking about, "Sebastian. Your cousin."
He chuckled, "Smart for an inner city girl. He'll launder the money through his restaurant, meanwhile I'll raise that bastard child of yours like they were my own. We'll have mini me's of our own and who knows? Maybe someday we can teach them the business."
I bit lip before smirking and leaning back in my chair, "You're batshit. Too bad this ain't gonna work out cause you fine as hell."
He smiled back, "it already did work out bebita."
I was just about to reply when the door opened.
A tray of food entered first and then the person carrying it.My blood went cold just I looked Malakai in the face.
I was just starting to get angry, thinking that they were working together. Why was he here? Why wasn't he in New York ? I froze when I noticed the purple under his eye and the scratches on his face.
