#10 Grading System - 1

Let's talk about the EDUCATION. Both in the UK and the US have it's own system of education. (Dedicated for the one who asked me to do this. Thank you x)

Jadi di chapter ini yang bakalan dibahas itu umumnya masalah sistem pendidikan di UK & US, dan khususnya di grading system.

Untuk pertama, ini dia grading system di Indonesia (semuanya juga pasti udah tau, sih. Anggap aja ini contoh x) :

Indonesia's Grading System

<4 tahun = Playgroup (PG) [optional]
4 - 6 tahun = Taman Kanak-kanak (TK)
4-5 (Kelas A/Nol Kecil)
5-6 (Kelas B/Nol Besar)
6 - 12 tahun = Sekolah Dasar (SD)
6-7 (Kelas 1)
7-8 (Kelas 2)
8-9 (Kelas 3)
9-10 (Kelas 4)
10-11 (Kelas 5)
11-12 (Kelas 6)
12 - 15 tahun = Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP)
12-13 (Kelas 1 SMP/Kelas 7)
13-14 (Kelas 2 SMP/Kelas 8)
14-15 (Kelas 3 SMP/Kelas 9)
15 - 18 tahun = Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA)
15-16 (Kelas 1 SMA/Kelas 10)
16-17 (Kelas 2 SMA/Kelas 11)
17-18 (Kelas 3 SMA/Kelas 12)

Nah itu form bakunya. Tapi ada juga kok yang melenceng (aku, misalnya. Aku Cuma setahun di TK, terus out ke SD. HAHAHA). Nah itu untuk di Indonesia. Ini bentuk grading systemnya UK & US, kalian liat aja perbedaannya :)

United Kingdom's Grading System

<4 tahun = Nursery / Playgroup
4-11 tahun = Primary School
4-5 (Reception / Infants reception)
5-6 (Year 1 / Infants year 1)
6-7 (Year 2 / Infants year 2)
7-8 (Year 3 / Junior year 3)
8-9 (Year 4 / Junior year 4)
9-10 (Year 5 / Junior year 5)
10-11 (Year 6 / Junior year 6)
11 - 16 = Secondary School
11-12 (Year 7 / First form)
12-13 (Year 8 / Second form)
13-14 (Year 9 / Third form)
14-15 (Year 10 / Fourth form)
15-16 (Year 11 / Fifth form)
16 - 18 = Sixth Form [optional]
16-17 (Year 12 / Lower sixth)
17 - 18 (Year 13 / Upper sixth)

Ribet? Kalo menurut aku sih, yes. *pake gaya anang pas jadi juri audisi indonesian idol-_-* ahahaha

Please note, itu Grading Systemnya berlaku di negara-negara di United Kingdom (UK) tapi enggak di Skotlandia.
