Twenty-one

Josh rested his forehead on the bathroom door. He saw Jenna run down the stairs crying and soon Tyler followed, tears of his own. "Darling, open the door." Josh heard a sob and josh let out a sigh. He jiggled the knob, which was locked. He then heard it unlock and wasted no time in opening it. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

Tyler fell into his arms and let out another sob, "I'm a horrible person."

Josh shushed Tyler, rubbing his back lightly, "no you're not...what happened?"

Tyler hugged josh tighter, "s-she found out I was cheating on her, I-I never wanted to hurt her."

Josh kissed Tyler's forehead, "everything will be fine, ok?" Tyler nodded, but the tears didn't stop.

"I wanna leave," Tyler mumbled against Josh's shirt.

Josh nodded, "alright, we can leave. Do you want to go back to my house?"

Tyler nodded and josh kissed Tyler's cheek. The two walked out of the bathroom and headed to the door. Hayley Kiyoko stopped them, "hey, guys, why are you leaving so soon?"

Josh placed a hand on Tyler's back, "Ty's not feeling too good. I'm going to get him home."

Hayley nodded, "ah, I see. Hope you get better, Jospeh." Tyler faked a smile before following josh out of he house. The car ride was completely quiet. Josh carried Tyler into his house and up to Josh's room. He laid Tyler on the bed and laid next to him. Guilt was eating Tyler alive. He should've just broken up with her to begin with. It would've been less hurtful thank cheating on her.

Josh pecked his lips, "stop beating yourself up over it. Everything will turn out fine."

Tyler nodded and kissed josh. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Josh pulled Tyler closer, "you don't need to know, because I'm not going anywhere."

Tyler came to a stop as he finished his last lap. He painted hard as he placed his hands over his head, tying to catch his breath. He was first to finish out of the group. Chris blew his whistle, "good job, Tyler! Walk a lap and then take a water break." Tyler nodded and began walking along the side of the track.

Pete was the next one to finish and caught up with Tyler. "Dude, is it true?"

Tyler raised an eyebrow, "what?"

Pete gave him a look like it was obvious, "that you cheated on Jenna? She's been telling everyone." The blood in Tyler's face drained and he suddenly felt like he was going to puke. Pete nudged him, "Ty, it's ok. Most people aren't even bothered by it. Jenna can be a pain in the ass and a complete bitch. It's not the first time she was cheated on."

Tyler gulped, "oh. Y-ya, I really didn't intend to hurt her. I was going to break up with her eventually, I just needed the right time. I feel like a bastard now."

Pete scoffed, "don't. No one cares. You're still mister superstar."

Tyler chuckled, "I guess."

Pete smirked, "so whose the lucky girl that stole Tyler Joseph's heart?"

Tyler blushed, "uh, n-no one."

Pete rolled his eyes, "whatever, man. I'll find out eventually."

Tyler hoped not.
