Tyler was sitting on the couch watching Tv. Grace had taken McKayla with her and the two went to go get the groceries. School had ended a little bit ago, so Brendon should be back soon. Tyler heard the doorknob jiggling and Brendon yelling on the other side. He also heard his siblings who were bickering to each other. Tyler chuckled. The door opened and Brendon let out a loud groan, "guys! Calm down!" Tyler let out a laugh, catching their attention. They all grinned and began scrambling to Tyler, saying things all at the same time.

Scott jumped onto Tyler's lap, "Tyler! You won't believe what happened today! I lost my tooth."

Tyler raised an eyebrow and smiled widely, "really? That's awesome, looks like the tooth fairy will be paying a visit."

Kyla hugged Tyler around the neck, "we missed you! Are you staying for the rest of the night?" Kara shoved Kyla out of the way so she could hug Tyler.

Brendon rolled his eyes and walked up to the zoo of kids, "chill the fuck out."

Marrett gasped and slapped Brendon's leg, "that's a bad word."

Brendon glared at him, "fuckity fuck fuck fuckers."

Marrett stuck out his tongue, "I'm telling mom. MOM!"

Joshua covered his ears, "stop being loud."

Brendon looked at Tyler with wide eyes, "help me. I'm going insane with these little bastards."

Kyla scoffed, "shut up, Brendon."

Kara rolled her eyes, "you're just as bad."

Tyler let out a laugh, "I missed this."

Brendon looked at Tyler like he was crazy, "uh, I don't know what you're talking about. This is like a freak house." Marrett slapped Brendon's leg again. Brendon glared down at him, "stop slapping me."

Marrett put his hand son his hips sassily, "what're you going to do if I don't?"

Brendon's flipped him off, "I'm going to give you to the zoo. Maybe they'll let you stay with the monkeys." The front door opened and grace walked back in, McKayla resting against her hip.

Grace chuckled, "how was school everyone

?" Scott held up his missing tooth, "I lost my tooth!"

Grace grinned, "that's great, darling! Oh, and Tyler, your brother is outside waiting for you."

Tyler set Scott off his lap, "oh, thank you. I'll be right back, guys."

Kyla gasped, "wait, Zack is here?" Tyler nodded and Kyla grinned. Brendon scoffed and started making kissing sounds. Kyla scowled Brendon, shoving him lightly. Tyler let out an amused laugh and rolled his eyes. He walked outside and smiled at Zack.

Zack smiled back sympathetically, "hey, Tyler."

"Hey."

Zack brought Tyler into a hug and Tyler hugged back immediately. He let out a shaky breath and willed himself not to cry. Zack pulled away and handed Tyler an bag. "It has some clothes and your everyday essentials."

Tyler grabbed the bag, "thanks, Zack...is mom and dad still pissed."

Zack snorted, "beyond, but don't worry, it'll blow over in no time."

Tyler rolled his eyes, "I doubt it." The two sat down on the steps. Tyler stared at the ground, "they acted like I was a disease."

Zack placed a hand on Tyler's shoulder, "they love you, Tyler. I mean, they have no excuse, what they did was wrong, but they love you."
