Thirty-four

A scoff left Tyler's lips as he paced back and forth, "I don't know, Brendon! He was all fine but then something just changed. I don't know what I fucking did!"

Brendon rolled his eyes, laying on his side on the bed. He watched as Tyler walked around the room. He groaned, "dude, chill before you have a panic attack."

Tyler covered his face, "I just don't know why josh thinks that we're distance. What if he breaks up with me over this?"

Brendon let out a laugh, "ya, I highly doubt that. Josh is fucking in love with you, Ty. He's not dumping you over this."

Before Tyler could reply, his phone started ringing. Tyler quickly grabbed it from the nightstand, "its josh." Tyler hesitantly answered the call and sat on the bed next to Brendon. "Hey, josh."

"Hey, Ty. About yesterday, I just wanted to apologize."

Tyler shook his head, "you don't have to be sorry, baby. You know you can talk to me, right?"

"Ya, of course. I just wanted to make sure we're good."

"Ya, were good. I love you."

"Love you too, Ty. See you tomorrow at school."

"Kay."

Tyler hung up the phone and sighed. Brendon tilted his head, "so?"

Tyler shrugged, "I don't know, I just feel like I did something."

Tyler jogged out of the house once he saw Josh's car. Usually Tyler would drive himself to school, by he asked josh to today. Tyler smiled as he got in the passenger seat, shivering from the change in temperature. "Hey," he breathed out."

Josh smiled back, planting a kiss to Tyler's lips. "Hi."

Tyler reached over and grabbed Josh's hand and josh happily grabbed it. Josh bit his lips once they were driving down the rode, "hey, about the other day-"

Tyler quickly cut him off, squeezing his hand, "that was the other day. It's the past."

Josh nodded, "I know, I just feel bad."

Tyler glanced at josh, giving him a reassuring smile, "don't feel bad, I love you."

Josh smiled widely, "I love you too. I'm glad we're ok."

Tyler rested his head on Josh's shoulder, "me too."

As much as Tyler wanted to ask josh what made them distant, he didn't want to ruin the moment. Tyler let out a sigh, deciding to just keep his mouth shut. Instead, Tyler brought up a different subject, "hey, I start my internship this Saturday."

Josh grinned, "that's great! I can't believe you get to work for the CEO."

Tyler shrugged, "it's not an actual job...yet. As long as I do good and show I'm not a waste of their time, then they'll give me a job."

Josh chuckled, "they're gonna love you, they'll have to give you the job."

Tyler lifted his head to look at josh "what about you, have you found a college you want to go to get?"

Josh glanced at Tyler before looking back at the road, "I got a few acceptance letters...but their all out of state. I wanna stay here with you."
