Cassie
I rush upstairs pushing my way past Dallas on the way.
I quickly change into a pair of blue skinny jeans and an Elvis Presley shirt and chuck on my converses. I put my hair in a quick, messy bun since I didn't have time to do my hair and a tiny bit of makeup
I then rushed back down stairs to find Soda on the table talking to Dally, he gets up and we both get into his truck
He drives me to school, on the way picking up Steve. It was just our daily routine. Come by in the morning, pick up Steve and drop me off. It's how it's always been since Soda dropped out last year and started working at the DX with Steve
"Hey, Cass" Steve says getting into the the back of the truck, only a pair of jeans on and chucking on his unbuttoned, baby blue DX shirt without anything underneath
"Hi, Stevie" I giggle as Soda pulls into my school and I open the door to get out
"Bye, Blue! I'll pick you up after my shift at the DX" I heard Soda shout from behind me as I walk away
"See you then, Sucker!" I shout not even turning around and I could feel him smiling at me

Sodapop
After I take Blue home, she rushes up stairs pushing through Dally on her way up
I give him a sympathetic look as he sits at the table, me taking a seat next to him
"Hey, Dal" he doesn't bother looking at me, a bear bottle still in his hand "Soda" he replied in a full musky voice
I take the bottle out of his hand and put it into the garbage, sitting back down in the seat next to him, he puts his face in his hands
"She hates me don't she" his voice muffled because his face is in his hands
"Just tired of you, that's all" I chuckle
"Ya know, Dal. Ya gotta lay off the alcohol. She's all ya got left and you shouldn't let something as stupid as this get in the way of your relationship"
I look at him sincerely and he pops his head back up towards me"Don't tell me how to live my life, Curtis. Just cause your parents died of drink driving don't mean you have the authority of stopping others" he looks me dead in the eyes
Did he just talk about my mom and dad?
Right then, Cassie comes down stairs racing to the car. I give Dal one last look before following after her
We get in my truck and I drive her to school, picking up Steve on the way
-per usualI pull into her school and she hops out
"Bye, Blue! I'll pick you up after my shift at the DX" I shout after her"See ya then, Sucker!" She shouts back in response and I give a smirk before being elbowed by Steve
I give him a playful punch in the shoulder before driving off

I pull into the DX and Steve and I get out and do our usual shifts, Steve works on cars and I watch the desk and after lunch we switch.
I settle down in a little wheely chair and roll myself around for a few minutes until I hear the bell ring signalling someone just entered the store and I jump up
All to see a tall blonde haired girl
Sandy
As she walks towards the counter I hear Steve scoff in the background
'Hey, Sand, what are ya doing here?' I ask curiously
'I thought you were in Colorado for family stuff?' I hint of anger at the thought of her lying to me
'Got cancelled' she jumps on the counter to lean in for a kiss but I pull away
She clears her throats and starts
'I thought you and I could go to the nightly double' she says
'I hear there's a romance on tonight' throwing a devilish smile'Actually, I was gonna go out with Cassie this afternoon' and I could hear Steve giggling behind me
She throws me an angry glare and pushes over a shelf with magazines on her way trudging out of the store
I sigh while Steve chuckles and comes over to pick up the magazines she had just effortlessly scattered on the ground
'Thanks Steve, I don't know what I'm going to do with her' I say running my hands through me greased hair
'Well, until then, you should go pick up Cass. It's 3:10' I shoot him a smile before rushing out the store
