This one kinda sucks but I don't know, I've been feeling absolutely horrible and it's the best I can do. I'm sorry.
(B/n) = Brothers name
(Y/m/n) = Your mums name'Hey, man. You coming over?'
'Yeah, 'course dude. Are we walkin' home with (Y/n)?' I asked, casually strolling down the school halls.
'Yeah. Fucking mum won't let me go home without her. She's such a pain in my arse.'
"You fucking cunt! How dare you talk about (Y/n) like that! I'll fucking kill everybody you've ever loved!" I thought.
My eye twitched.
'I can walk her home from now on if it takes the weight off your shoulders.' I offered.
'I'll ask my mum. Thanks, dude.' He sighed, watching as (Y/n) silently crept towards us, skin sickly and knees tapping together awkwardly. Her hair hung in front of her teary (e/c) eyes, almost hiding the bandaids and bruises on her skin. 'Stop being so fucking slow!' Her brother shouted, grabbing the back of her neck and pushing her towards her locker, causing her to fall to her knees and drop her things. 'Fucking idiot!'
'Dude, just give her a minute.' I spoke firmly, kneeling beside her and collecting her books. 'Don't worry, I'll carry your things. Are you okay?' I softly mumbled so he couldn't hear. I could hear her quietly whimpering as she lifted herself up, blood dripping from her nose. I held her books under my arm and with my other hand, dragged my sleeve up to my palm and pressed it to her nose to help stop the blood. 'Come on, you'll be okay...I'll protect you...' Her eyes wandered over to mine for a moment, tears threatening to spill but she held on, nodding and slowly getting up alongside me. She replaced my sleeve with her own before thanking me and beginning to walk towards the school doors. Meanwhile, I stared at the blood, chest pounding as I thought about how I'd cuddle my jumper tonight. 'Stop being so fucking nice, it's creepy.' He obnoxiously laughed, elbowing my side before following (Y/n), making sure to shove her as he passed. I absolutely hated how he treated her. I hated him and everything he had ever done to my beautiful (Y/n). I only spoke with him so I could see her more often, but it killed me. Of course, instead of saying anything, I just quietly walked beside her brother, occasionally looking back at her and sneaking kind, gentle smiles that she graciously returned.'Hi, Vincent! How are you?' (Y/m/n) greeted me as I entered the house after (Y/n), following her as I was still carrying her books.
'I'm good. Thank you for asking.' I answered bluntly, sighing with relief when I noticed (b/n) wasn't following us. I trailed behind her, into her room and gentle set her books down on her desk, heart fluttering when I noticed multiple posters of bands and rappers that I admired.
'T-Thank you f-for helping me...' She smiled, a faint blush growing across her cheeks.
'Why do you let him treat you like that? It's horrible...'
'I-I tried to fight back, but...h-he always wins. I-I've tried asking for help, but...' She trailed off, her eyes filling with tears once more. Slowly, I approached her, bringing my hand to her chin and lifting her head so she looked up at me.
'I promise, everything will get better...and I'll do whatever I can to help.' I then slowly bent down, pressing my lips to hers and rubbing her jawline with my thumb. She didn't oppose, instead welcoming me with open arms and immediately kissing me back. I could barely breathe I was so happy. I had thought about kissing her for so long that it felt like a dream. Eventually, we pulled away, her smiling and me blushing heavily.
'Thank you, Vinny...' My heart melted at the nickname.
'Yo! Vincent! Get your arse out here! I got the Play Station running!' (B/n) called from the living room. I covered (Y/n)'s ears for a moment so I could shout back.
'I'm taking a piss! Hold on!'
(Y/n) giggled, getting to her tippy toes and kissing me softly before letting me go. 'Go kick his butt in Doom for me.'
