What is the difference between humans and angels? Please tell me. I need to know.
Beep! Beep! Beep! Be-
'That's quite enough of that, thank you very much.' I grumbled at my alarm clock. The glowing red numbers told me that I had to get up soon, but every part of my body ached due to the long flight home yesterday. I knew that it was dangerous to fly around in such cold conditions but it wasn't like I could die twice. With a deep sigh, I lifted myself up out of bed. It wasn't like I slept anyway but it was comfy and it came with the house. I arched my back, hearing my bones crack beneath my tattooed skin before I pushed myself up onto my legs. They were still bruised from landing on top of a shed that belonged to the long-abandoned house beside me. Even after the months I had been here, transportation was still very difficult.
I stumbled over to the bathroom, sighing once more when I noticed my plain-old toothbrush sitting in it's plain-old cup beside the same-old toothpaste. I was getting tired of the human world. It's not like I was ever going to leave my house during the day and even when I did have to leave, it was so restricting. I wasn't allowed to be comfortable around people.
Suddenly, I heard loud beeping coming from outside the house.
Though my schedule told me I needed to brush my teeth, I instead retreated back into my bedroom to peak between the thick black curtains that blocked out all sunlight. As I poked my head through, I noticed a large truck outside the house next door to mine. Large men were carrying furniture out of it, things like tables and dressers. Meanwhile, a lady stood beside the door, her face covered with (Y/h/c) hair so I couldn't see her. Her whole body was covered with baggy black clothes yet the chest seemed slightly too tight, despite everything else hanging loosely over her waist. Curiosity coursed through me as I shut the blinds and quickly got dressed, making sure my back wasn't noticeable with thick leather belts holding everything in place. I did the usual, slipping on tight black jeans and a hoodie (since I was too excited to put on an actual shirt) and hurried outside. There lady was quietly thanking all of the people who were previously moving things into the house as they filed back into the large truck that they came from before speeding off, leaving her with boxes upon boxes sitting on the front lawn. One-by-one, she began lifting each box and dragging them inside the house whilst I stood outside awkwardly staring like a child. As I began to finally muster up the courage to speak to her, another family from across the road seemingly bolted over just so they could be the first ones to say hi. Just like that, my courage depleted and I pathetically wandered back into my own home to do nothing.

'I-I'm grateful, truly, I am

'I-I'm grateful, truly, I am. It's just that I have a lot of unpacking to do. I'm quite sorry, m-maybe another time.' I apologised, watching as the old lady who had come to say hi accepted my answer and began walking back to her own home. Looking back, the person who was standing outside his house moments earlier had practically vanished. I wasn't sure if he was staring at me or something else but it certainly was strange, although he was probably just nervous. He looked like a shut-in. His hair was about a medium length, blacker than anything I had seen but his hair covered his face which disappointed me. Deciding not to dwell on it, I took a deep breath and began carrying the rest of my things. I had to pick my cat up from the sitter I left her with so I had to finish up quickly.
