Hey there! This story actually started off as something else but I ended up just letting my mind do its work instead of sticking to the request so I'm sorry about that! It just got so cute and I had to keep going! Comment for a part 2, you guys know the drill by now.

'Oh thank shit I fucking need a drink. Holy fuck.' Our keyboard player, Balz commented as he sped off elsewhere, leaving me by myself. I understood where he was coming from. Me and the rest of my band mates were completely poofed after playing an intense show. We weren't really that popular yet but we were trying and trying meant playing at whatever venue we could. Tonight was a large pub in the very centre of the city. I felt lucky to play there and the amount of cheering we got from the audience made me feel even luckier. We were in a small competition with four or five other bands, most of which were teenage boys like ourselves who had so much time on their hands they didn't know what to do with it. You could tell by how they just stood there playing their instruments instead of interacting with each other or getting into the spirit. I didn't mind, however. The worse they were, the more likely we'd win.
I sat at the bar, tapping my middle finger against my chilled glass and thanking everyone who came up to me. They all seemed to enjoy the way I moved on stage, the slight sway in my hips and twinkle in my eyes.
It finally came down to the last band. I didn't pay much attention at first, mainly because my ego kept telling me we had already won. However, as the singer introduced her band I immediately became interested. 'Hey! We're Psycho Impulses and this is "Tranquility"!' She seemed quite cheery from her tone yet, by the time I turned my head, I saw something breathtaking. My eyes widened at the sight of her, my lips suddenly felt dry and my finger stopped it's seemingly sempiternal tapping. She was unlike anything I had ever seen before.
'Hey Chris!' I suddenly heard Balz shout, slamming his hand onto my back with an open palm. I jumped in my seat, barely managing to rip my eyes away from that girl just to tell Balz off.
'D-Dude! Don't scare me like that! You gave me a fucking heart attack!'
'Speaking of heart attacks, look at that girl up there!' He grinned happily, planting himself onto the red leather, patted seat beside me. 'Fuckin' gorgeous, huh?' He gestured up at the stage, almost like he was giving me permission to look back at her. I wasn't complaining, however. Immediately after I let my eyes wander over to the girl who almost sent me into cardiac arrest, a heavy bass riff began to play over my reoccurring thoughts relating to how beautiful she was.
'The air smells of suicide tonight!' She suddenly screamed into the mic with a voice that outmatched my own.
'Pretty and talented. I like her.'
'Y-Yeah, she's...she's fine.' I responded, ripping my eyes away from her.
'Fine? Are you blind, def or both?' I ignored my probably intoxicated friend and turned away from the stage just so I could listen to what she was preforming.
"I never thought I could be afraid to end my life. So many nights, so many days, so many voices invading my mind. I can not see them, but I know I've got some demons." She was a lot more quiet at that point, the crunching guitars had died down to make room for their lyrics. I didn't know her name but listening to her sing just made me feel like I was getting to know her. "I want to know their names and if they are the ones to blame. Oh please tell me, 'cause these questions are not helping."
She sounded so kind, so gentle and yet her words were riddled with pain and agony. She wasn't lying.
'They might actually beat us. Just listen to them, man.'
'Y-Yeah...' I wanted to elaborate. I wanted to tell him everything I was thinking. I wanted to tell him about how she made my heart suddenly beat like cloudburst, how she made my thoughts cloudy and confused.
I hadn't even met her yet.
What was happening to me?
