"Yeah, we're finally here!" Alya cheered as they walked into the huge room decorated to match the occasion. It was New Years Eve.

Marinette slowly walked behind her friend as they entered the crowed rooms. Her mind had one goal. Stay away from Adrien.

"Oh, look! Adrien and Nino!" Alya points at the two boys next to the food table.

"Nope. I jinxed it." Marinette whispered to herself as Akya yanked her to the boys.

"Hey guys!" Alya greeted. Nino turned and smiled at them. Adrien caught Marinette's glance and gave a disappointed sigh. "This is what you call sexy?"

He gestured her outfit. She simply wore denim jeans, a black crop top and a cardigan to cover her up. And her pink vans.
She rolled her eyes. "No, this is what I call CASUAL."

Adrien chuckled. "Whatever you say, sugar queen. BTW, you look like a boy."

"Sugar queen?!" She exclaimed. "S'okay! Call me sugar daddy." Adrien winked.

Marinette gagged but a faint blush spread on her cheeks. "You're fricking disgusting!"

She turned and realised that Alta and Nino had disappeared.

'Those backstabbing idiots!' She thought.

"Come on, let's dance." The blonde said.

"Go dance by yourself." Marinette began to blushed as Adrien danced next to her.

"Come on!" He laughed and made goofy moves making Marinette laugh.

"Fine." She joined him.

The whole night was just the two of them laughing and goofing around. At one point, Marinette dunked Adrien's head into the punch bowl.

They were standing out in the balcony, talking about life.

"So, you ever had a boyfriend?" Adrien asked. Marinette scratched her head. "Nah, I don't really do dating. I've only had crushes." She admitted.

"Who?" Adrien leaned in curiously.

"That's personal shit, man!" She laughed and shoved his face away.

"AW, but I wanna know? I like some juicy gossip." He grinned. Who knew Adrien could be such a dork.

"That's a story for another time. What about you?" She asked. Adrian smirked. "Two." He answered.

Marinette burst into a giggling fit.

"What? It's true!" Adrien frowned. Marinette panted. "Yeah but I figured someone like you would have more than that!" She laughed.

"Gee, thanks!" Adrien replied sarcastically.

Marinette finally stopped laughing. They stayed in silence for a moment, only the sound of cars echoed.

"So," Adrien started. "Am I one of your crush?" He bluntly asked. A blush crept up Marinette neck.

She shrugged. "Maybe."

Adrien fell silent. She thought he had gone till he spoke again.

"How'd you feel if I courted you?" He asked.

"Eh?! Court? Me!? Why?!" She exclaimed. Adrien grinned. "Well, isn't it obvious? I like you."

"U-uhhh..." She stammered.

"Come on, please!" He gave her his best puppy eyes. Marinette avoided his gaze, blushing deeply and also thanking the world for the darkness.

"Please!" He whined.

"I... You have to ask my parents!" She said. 'Yes, there's no way they'll say yes.'
