Chapter 15

Kellise
I woke up in my boyfriends arms. I turned around facing him and I began placing kisses all over his face. Nothing at this moment can feel better than this.
"Well good morning princess. You sleep well?" Aaron asked me smiling.
"Good morning baby and of course I did. I was in your arms." I said before he kissed me passionately. After a couple seconds he pulled away slowly looking in my eyes. I heard my door being pushed open and I quickly turned around. Kaylin came walking in my room whining and I giggled.
"She does this sometimes." I told Aaron before getting out of bed to pick up Kaylin.
"Its okay." I said. She laid on my chest and I rubbed her back as I sat back against the headboard.
"Is she alright?" Aaron asked and I nodded.
"Yeah just sleepy." I said kissing her cheek as he looked at me smiling non stop.
"What?" I said giggling.
"It's just cant wait until we have our own little ones." He said and I smiled, thinking of the day when I carry our creations inside me. He placed his hands on my belly and started rubbing it.
"Daddy love y'all even tho y'all not here yet. And won't be for some years." He said and I took my hand off Kaylin's back and slapped his hands off my stomach. Aaron laughed, thinking everything is funny...as always. But Kaylin quickly turned her head to us being nosey.
"Baby?" She asked pointing her little finger towards my belly.
"Nope, no baby in there yet Kay." She laid her head back down and I rubbed her back again.
"Stop putting ideas in her head." I said to Aaron and he laughed.
"Good morning you two. Look who stole my baby." Nicki said coming in.
"Good morning auntie." I said.
"Good morning Ms.Nicki." I Aaron also said as Kaylin reached for Nicki. My aunt spoiled the hell out of that girl. As much as she wants to deny it it's true. I laid on Aaron's chest as I watched Kaylin whine and point to me.
"Didn't you just want mommy? Now you want Kel." Nicki said as I sat up smiling. I held my arms out. She sat on my lap and poked my belly.
"Baby!" She said and Nicki shot me a look.
"No Kaylin. There's no baby." I said and Nicki still burned a hole in my face.
"I heard babies can sense when someone is pregnant Kellise." Nicki said and I sighed.
"No. This morning when she came in here. I was rubbing her back while she laid on my chest. And AARON talked about how he can't wait until the day comes when I carry our babies. He started to rub my stomach and talk to it and she heard and took it as if he was talking to a baby inside me which is not the case." I said as Nicki and Aaron both laughed together.
"Yeah. It was a simple mistake Ms.Nicki. Kids are like sponges and I should've been more careful about what I said around her." Aaron said and Nicki nodded.
"You're fine. Now, do yall want some breakfast?" She asked.
"Yes please. Can you take her while I put on some clothes." Nicki took the baby and left. I hope she wasn't gonna do too much at this breakfast.
Nicki
"Hey baby girl." Meek said onto the phone as soon as I answered.
"Hey Meek." I said.
"What y'all got planned for today?" He asked.
"Nothing much. Just hanging out at the house. You?" I asked.
"Nothing. I was wondering if you'd let me take you out tonight. You know, only if it's okay with the kids." He said chuckling.
"I'd love to. My niece will watch them tonight and we can go as soon as I put my baby girl to bed." I said trying to hide my excitement as much as I could.
"Sounds good. So about 8:25 I'll pick you up?" He asked.
"Yeah. I put her to bed at 7:15 so that'd be great." I said.
"Alright Nic. I'll let you go on with your day. I got to hit the studio anyway." He said and I smiled.
"Ok well I'll see you tonight then." I said.
"Absolutely. Bye Onika." He said and I giggled.
"By Robert." I said and heard him chuckle before hanging up the phone.
"You need me to help cook?" Aaron said coming into the kitchen.
"Can you make me some of your special pancakes babe." Kellise asked Aaron giving him a pouty face.
"Yes he will. Because I don't feel like making them today. I'll make the eggs biscuits and bacon and you make pancakes Aaron." I said and he nodded. We prepared all the food and Aaron sat everything on the table while I put Kaylin in her high chair. She was being difficult this morning trying to take off her bib.
"Baby you have to keep that on so your clothes won't get dirty." I said and she started to cry.
"No!" She said crossing her little fat arms. I sighed.
"You don't want to get your pretty shirt dirty do you? And stop crying, big girls don't cry. You not a baby are you?" She stopped crying and I wiped her cheeks off.
"No. I big girl." She said.
"Then keep on your bib okay. When you take it off mommy gets sad." I said and she kept it on with a pout. I kissed her cheeks and blew on them and she laughed.
"I love you." I sang to her and she smiled at me.
"Mom. These pancakes are so good. I never knew you could cook like this. Sometimes you be struggling but I don't say nothing." Cameron said.
"Aaron made those." I said nonchalantly and her eyes widened.
"Ma I didn't even mean it like that. Your cooking is still amazing. But Aaron... this is sooo good. Like how is this even possible." She said and he laughed.
"My momma taught me. Cook with your mom a couple times a week. You'll learn a lot." He said and I smiled.
"Okay mom. Get ready to teach tonight." She said and I sighed.
"Baby I'd love to. It's just I have something to do tonight." I said and sat down to begin eating.
"Ughhh I wanted to spend time with you tonight though. Like watching a movie, helping you cook, eating sweets. I never got to do that in a while. But it's fine. Tomorrow maybe." She said and I started to feel so bad.
"I have to go to the studio to record..." I said and she looked down. I really felt like a bad mother in this moment.
"Oh. Well... another time." She said and there was a awkward silence.
"So when is grandma coming to see us?" Cameron asked changing the subject.
"In about 2 days. For Kaylin's party." I said and she nodded. Kellise rubbed Cameron's back and whispered something in her ear causing her to laugh a little.
"We should do something as a family. Maybe for Kaylin's birthday weekend we can go somewhere. I just have to book it now."
"Universal studios. Please." She asked with a slight smile.
"Yeah. Let me schedule somethings." I said causing everyone to smile.

"So where we off too now? I asked Meek as I ate some cotton candy.
"It's nice Nic trust me." He said and we ended up by a lake. He backed up by it the stopped the car.
"Come on." He said and opened the trunk that had a blanket already laid out. He lifted me up and sat me on in the trunk to his Escalade and I giggled as he did so. Then he got up and just looked at the view of the lake.
"I'm cold." I said and he nodded before wrapping a blanket around my shoulders and pulling me into him. I laid on his chest comfortably.
"Nicki I've been meaning to ask you. How you been holding up since baby girl been gone?" He asked and I sighed.
"Not as well as you'd think." I said.
"I miss seeing her lil fat self." He said rubbing my arm.
"Yeah. C-can we n-n-not talk about her... Please?" I asked and he looked down at me.
"I'm sorry. I ain't mean to make you cry." He said and kissed my forehead.
"It's okay. I get really emotional still." I said wiping my eyes looking out at the view.
"I'm sorry baby girl. But I was thinking maybe I could take you all out next weekend. Just us and the girls. I'd like to get to know them a little more." He said and I nodded.
"We already made plans to go to Cali but for sure another time I'd like you to get to know the girls." I said and as I finished talking. I noticed him staring at me.
"You're... so beautiful." He said and I got lost into his eyes before I felt his lips press into mines. This moment felt so right, but was it?
