Nicki
"Hey. Mind if I come in?" I asked standing in Kellise's doorway.
"Nah, come in." She said and I walked over to her bed sitting next to her.
"I'm sorry about yesterday. I'm sorry that I doubted you that much. I shouldn't have went about that situation in that manner. I'm going through a lot right now, things I can't tell you just yet. But that's still not an excuse for what I did. I went overboard and I'm sorry." I said and she nodded.
"I forgive you." She said and went back to texting on her phone.
"O-okay. I love you. I'll be in the other room if you need me." I said and walked out. I sighed and went to Cameron's room.
"Hey mommy." She said locking her phone and putting it down.
"Hey baby. I wanted to talk to you about school." I said and she nodded as I sat down in her chair.
"What's going on?" I asked and her whole mood changed.
"Some people are really mean to me." She said sadly.
"They told me you didn't really love me and it's just a matter of time before....before you give me up because you just used me for attention from the press. I know it's not true. But why me?" She said and I held her.
"Baby. How come you didn't tell me?" I said and she shrugged.
"You were so busy with Kellise being pregnant I didn't want to add anymore stress." She explained and I sighed.
"Honey, if you ever feel anything less than happy you need to come talk to me. No matter how I feel we can talk. Okay?" I said and she nodded.
"I love you baby girl." I said and she hugged me.
"I love you too mommy." She said back.
"And Kellise isn't pregnant." I said and she looked shocked.
"Oh, sorry. I thought I heard.." She said embarrassed.
"Yeah I know. It's okay. Let's go wake your sister up." I said and we walked into Kaylin's room together. I picked Kaylin up out of her crib and she held onto me tight as she laid across my shoulder.
"You gotta get up mamas. It's almost the afternoon." I said and she whimpered.
"No mama." She said and I sighed. I rocked her back and forth gently and sang to her to wake up. She popped her little head up and smiled at me as I sang to her.
"You up now? You ready to eat eat?" I asked and she replied with an adorable, high pitched "yes"
"Meeks downstairs?" Cameron asked and I nodded. She quickly went downstairs to him. I smiled. I carried Kaylin downstairs and she played in my hair.
"Pretty mama." She said looking at me.
"Thank you baby. You're beautiful too." I said placing kisses on her cheeks.
"Nic, you want me to make breakfast?" Meek asked coming around the corner and Kaylin's eyes lit up as she heard his voice. I put her down on the floor and she ran straight to him, as fast as her little feet could take her.
"You don't have to do it all by yourself. I'll help." I said and he kissed my lips.
"You spend time with Kay and I'll cook. Just relax, you don't have to work all the time. Let me handle this one." He said and I nodded. He put Kaylin down and she began to cry so he picked her back up.
"Don't do that baby girl I gotta cook for you. Don't you want some food?" He asked and she nodded with a pout.
"Alright. Then go play blocks with mama." He said and she smiled and ran to her bin of blocks that sat in the living room. I sat down with her and built things. I looked at how beautiful she was, how curly her hair was as it was hanging a over her face. Ever since I was little I wanted gorgeous kids, and now I have just that plus more.
Kellise
"When were you gonna talk to me? These are fresh. You either had to do this today or last night." I said examining Cameron's wrists. She cut again and I don't know why. I really thought she was doing better.
"Kel you did it too!" She yelled and I couldn't deny it.
"Yeah. I did. And it was wrong. I should've talked to Aaron or Nicki about how I felt." I said.
"So you're saying I should talk to her...?" She asked and I nodded.
"I know it's hard but you have to. If you want to feel better you have to let your feelings out okay?" I explained.
"But mom's stressed. I can't tell her that. Do you know what's wrong?" She asked and I shrugged.
"She said it's something she can't explain right now." I said and she looked concerned.
"It's probably something really bad. Do you think..." Cameron was cut off because my aunt called us downstairs.
"Don't mention it at all. Obviously it makes her upset. We're just gonna have to wait until she tells us." I said walking with Cameron downstairs.
"Good morning everyone." I said with a slight smile before sitting down. Everyone said good morning back and we began to fix our plates.
"Mom, you good?" Cameron asked and Nicki nodded and smiled oddly. Somethings definitely up.

"So I wanted to talk to you girls about something important." Nicki said as me and Cameron sat on the couch next to her.
"How do you feel about Meek staying with us for a while?" She asked looking between us.
"I don't mind it. But why? What's going on?" I said and she looked down.
"Grandmas sick and she's moving down here with Caiah. I need Meek to help me with you guys and for emotional support. I'm gonna have a full schedule and I don't know how I'm gonna function most days so he's gonna help." Nicki explained.
"Is grandma gonna be okay?" Cameron asked worriedly. Nicki sighed and pulled Cameron close to her.
"I don't know yet baby. But you have to be strong for me okay? I need you to be strong." Nicki said and Cameron began to cry in her arms. I rubbed Cameron's back and looked at Nicki.
"I know it's hard. I know. It's gonna be okay." Nicki whispered to her.
"It's the first time in my life that I have a real family. And now this..." Cameron says through tears.
"I know. I'm so sorry this is happening. None of us want this." Nicki said and I ran upstairs, I couldn't see this, especially when I'm about to break down myself. I ran to my room and laid down on my bed. It wasn't long before Nicki walked in.
"Can you hold me. At least for one minute?" I asked and I felt her nod. I let a tear slip from my eye and it soaked into the fabric of my aunts shirt.
"I know this is hard. I know. Let it all out." She said and after a while I heard little giggles outside of my door.
"Nick, where are her pampers- oh I'm sorry." Meek said noticing the moment we were sharing.
"It's okay baby and they're in the closet on the left side." She answered and I looked up at her.
"You must love him huh?" I said wiping my tears as I pulled out of the warm embrace.
"I really do. He's such a big help and he really fell in love with y'all." She said and I smiled at the thought she finally found real, genuine love.
"You deserve it auntie. But when can we see grandma?" I asked.
"She got cleared to come get treatment out here. She'll be here in the next week." She said and I nodded.
Please don't let this break my family apart. I thought to myself.
