chapter 7

It's been 2 days since ive worked and seen colby. I work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I got in my car and went to pick up some sweets I promised Adam, I also got some for Lilly Anna. I walked back into that hell hole and checked in . " Ah, miss Lavanya " the old lady called back ." Yes ma'am" I said . " Mrs greenwood would like to see you " she said . I hate that old bitch she almost killed me , she burnt the file and now she wants to see me . I walked into her office and closed the door .

" Take a seat" she said pointing to the seat on the other side of her desk. " So , one of our nurses quit" she began " she was incharge of all the kids and the men with anger management" she said . " So , what is your point" I asked . " My point is that you will get that job, you can do anything you would like with them " she said . " Okay?" I answered still kinda confused . " So now you will have all the children first " she said . " Wait ? , Now!" I yelled . " Yes now go to hall 40 , they will be waiting for you" she said as I stood up ready to leave . " What about the guys " I asked . " Hall 79" she said . I closed the door behind me and went to hall 40 .

I opened the door to the hall and saw a bunch of children there . " Hey kids" I said still holding the sweets . " Its a different woman" said a girl with blonde hair. " Do u think she will hurt us to ? "A boy with curly red hair said . I got scared at what they just said . " Guys please sit in a circle" I said . They all sat in a circle . I to joined the circle and felt my palms began to sweat . looks of fear were on there face which made me feel pity for them . " Ok hello kids my name is Emma " I said with a smile. " Hello Emma they all said in unison.

" Guys tell me what was the woman before me like" I said looking at them . An Asian girl with two braids put her hand up ."she was mean" she said . Why would they treat patients like this . " What did she do to you" I said wanting answers . A dark skinned boy put his hand up. " Yes Hun" I said. " She..she would hit us and make us clean the basement." He answered looking sad . " Guys .. I'm am not like that ..I would never ever hurt you" I said with a smile.

I opened a pack of sweets which contained 15 chocolates then I opened the other . Ik that I promised Adam sweets but he was in the circle so I did fill my promise . I got up and gave everyone a chocolate . I had 30 in total an I had ten left so I'm guessing I have 20 children . " Thank you Emma " they all said as they nibbled on it . We played speaking games since they had no toys . They all went back in theirs rooms as I got the registration sheet for the children . I realised they are all schizophrenic or they have insomnia .

I Walked down to hall 79 to see alot of men including , colby
I walked to the front to hear some guys whistle . " Guys could I please have your attention" I said they all become quiet. " Ok..so I'm your new nurse my name is Emma and I hope we could all be freinds and get to know each other " I said tucking a hair behind my ear uncomfortably . " I don't mind getting to know you" a man smirk causing me to feel scared . " Ok..I..um..Im gonna do the the registration for this group..and ..umm...we could go from there " I stuttered uncontrollable.

" David Allan" I said and a guy put his hand up . " Steve Milton" I said again not being about to hear the person answer because a man was talking over me . " Umm..excuse me could ... could you please be quite for a second I'm trying to do registration but I can't hear " I said in a polite way . " "What did you say" he yelled walking closer to me . I put the books down and said " could you please move back" . He smirked and grabbed my hair . " Ou ...ou let go " I yelled as he threw me to the ground .

" Let go of her " I heard Colby yell
" Oh shut up Colby" he yelled as he kicked me in the stomach. I felt blood come out my mouth . " I said don't touch her you bitch" colby yelled. The the guy threw a punch at Colby causing to fall to the ground next to me . I cried in pain . Colby looked at me but i was to weak to look at him . He got up and full on attacked the guy . "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT" the guys all yelled . As Colby brawled with the other guy . All the nurses came in They threw Colby of him . I couldn't see what they did the colby and the guy cause the men were in my way .

Colbys pov
Richard walked closer to Emma and pulled her hair and threw her to the floor . No one will touch Emma . " Don't touch her " I yelled . " Shut up Colby " he yelled before he threw a strong kick into Emma's stomach. "i said Don't touch her you bitch " I yelled again as I pushed him away . He punched me in the face which made me fall next to Emma. I looked at her to see her crying in pain her lips covered in blood as she looked like she was passing out . I shot back up and attacked Richard. "Fight fight, fight" all the guys yelled . Then nurses came in and pulled us apart . The nurses ( which were guys) pulled us out the room and shut that door. They held us and put the sleeping injection into my wrist . This is all for Emma I reminded myself. All for Emma i said in my mind again as I blacked out .
