Dear Jacob,
I have a confession to make
This may surprise you a little
I suggest you prepare yourself
I'm....
How should I put it?
I guess...
I'm different that what you see me as
I've lied to you
I just wanted to impress you
It was heartbreaking for me to see
You believing my lies...
I knew you would be hurt
If you ever knew the truth
However,
You deserve know the truth
I'm really thankful for the times
You helped me
Despite facing your own problems
I'm really thankful for that
Regarding who I truly am,
I'm not those like those
Popular kids in school
I envy them
They're so confident
Remember the time
The time I said I was brave?
The time I said I was confident?
The time I said I went on
Numerous vacations?
I'm the opposite of all of that
Now you know
Who truly am
It's your choice to
Continue to be my friend
Or leave me
If maybe...
Maybe
You choose
To be my friend,
I thank you
From the bottom of my heart
For accepting
Who truly am
Yours faithfully,
Marissa
