( A/N: The information in the poem is not made up. This is the truth about the white tiger.)
What is this creature?
That white fur
Those dark stripes
Those icy blue eyes
Ah
It's the white tiger
A beautiful creature indeed
It is known for its good looks
Many believe
The white tiger is a subspecies
Of the orange tiger we usually see
Actually,
The white tiger is not a subspecies
It is in fact
An animal specially bred
You can't find a white tiger
In the wild
Why you ask
The answer is simple
The mother tiger would kill her cub
If it's white
Surprised?
The reason is
The cub would not survive in the wild
It is unable to camouflage
It would eventually starve to death
So its mother does it a favor
What does this tell us?
White tigers are bred to make money
They can be found in petting zoos
Don't be fooled
The money collected is not
For conservation
When the cub gets too old,
It would either be sold
Or sent to slaughterhouses
Where its fur would be sold
When you breed a white tiger
Be warned,
The tiger can have birth defects
Take a look at Kenny
He has down syndrome
This is one of the consequences
Of breeding a white tiger
Do you still want white tigers
To be bred?
