Benjamin placed down his pen
And tore out the piece of paper
They looked at him in fear
It was happening again
They could not understand him
Why was he giving up so easily?Benjamin turned off the light
And crawled into bed
He lied there
Thinking
ThinkingHe couldn't take it anymore
And started to sob
He was never going to
Accomplish his dream
He finally woke up
This was reality
It was difficult but
You can't save everything you loveMother noticed Benjamin's
Change in behaviour
He became more distant
And lost his appetite
Despite what her friends said,
She knew this wasn't a phase
She wants him to talk to her
But he didn't
No matter how many times she tried,
He refused to talk to her
It was like she was a ghost
Like what happened
In her adolescence
Feeling defeated,
Her tears watered the ground
She couldn't stop her tears
AgainThey were disheartened
They yearned to be written on
That was the sole purpose
Of their existence
They have already sacrificed
Their youth
Instead of becoming trees
They became paper
Likewise,
They started to sobThe pencil too was disheartened
It wanted to write stories,
Not solve algebra
No!
It refused to believe all of this
But reality won't die
And it started to sob
And sobNo matter how many times
He was told and encouraged,
Benjamin made up his mind
He was as stubborn as a mule
Never again would he write a
Story unless it was required
For his assignments or exams
This was the end of the writer
