Blue Eyes (Asa Butterfield)

Chapter 5

For the past week Asa and I have been in that music room forever.

Asa: Doesn't anyone else use this room?

Me: Not really because we have an odd number of kids so everyone had to share except me.

Asa: That's pretty cool.

He gives me a smile and I knew he wanted that kiss.

Me: Not today.

Asa: Ok, how about mini golf tomorrow night? Not a date, but as a welcome to MCAA mini golf.

I smile and agree to him dinner and I hurry back to my dorm.

I open the door and I see Iris drawing a really good person.

"Hey Iris." I said putting my stuff down.

She looks up and smiles the says, "I heard you were running around with Asa all week!" She looks ecstatic and squeals like any other over whelmed girl. ¨Is there something you want to share to the class?¨

I smile and explain, "We're just friends."

"Oh come on! You two are perfect!"

"We're going mini golfing tomorrow night."

We both squeal and go to sleep. My first week done and tomorrow is Thursday!! Finally.

The next day I hurry and get dressed for classes and I here a knock on the door.

It was Asa.

Asa: Ready?!

Me: Yep.

We walk to theater and we do all this cool things and we also work on our auditions for the play 'Shrek'. It's going to be awesome!

Asa and I practice the duet with Shrek and Fiona. You Belong To Me.

And I'll be so alone without you

Maybe you'll be lonesome too

Fly the ocean in a silver plane

See the jungle when its wet with rain

Just remember till you're home again

You belong to me!

We laugh and laugh until the period was over and I had to go to science.

I walk to class and some girl pulls me over.

"You're the girl Asa's been hanging out with?" She asked looking nervous.

I look at her confused and say, "Ya, but just as friends that's all."

She rubbed her hands and said, "Well one of his friends said he likes you." I smiled and she added, "But his ex girlfriend Christy really wants to kill you for stealing him. Just to warn you. Don't tell her I told you."

Before I could ask for more, she runs away and I head to class.

I sit down and just pretend nothing happened excited for my mini golf FRIEND date tonight.

When that random girl said he liked me I blushed because I kind of like him back. I don't even care about the whole ex-girlfriend thing right now because I'm just too excited.

Oh, those blue eyes and brown hair they can make a girl melt!

Asa.

That night Iris and I hurry back to our room and try to pick the perfect outfit to wear tonight.

"This!" Iris said holding up jeans a crop, white, sweater with a black tank.

I think about it with my converse and say, "YES!"

I put it on and fix my hair and a quick touch of lipstick. Perfect.

Iris claps and says, "I love it!¨

I wait and wait then finally Asa comes wearing dark washed jeans and a black, rolled up sleeve shirt. Then last, but not least his colorful Adidas shoes that no one can forget!

"Ready?" Asa asked all pumped up.

Iris hands me my little purse and I exclaim, "Ready!"

We hop into his Jeep and hurry to the mall to go to the glow-in-the-dark mini golf.

We grab our putters and golf balls and begin! All the new obstacles and the cool deigns it was pretty awesome!

"This is pretty awesome!" I said getting another hole-in-one!

Asa laughed and said, "Welcome to outside of that practice room and theater!"

After golfing (which I won) we went to dinner to grab some burgers. Even though this is your cliché movie type of date, it still felt like a different expierence.

"Thank you a girl who eats burgers!" He said clapping and smiling.

I laugh and say, "I'm not a big salad fan." I said taking a nice, sweet, big bite out of my burger and letting the juice taste so good. I might sound weird, but hey it's a really, really good burger.

Asa and I sit there talking and laughing all night long like the night got younger and younger! It was the best time of my life and I wouldn't want to spend a Friday night anymore than this. I wish I had this much fun back at home instead of  just hanging out with Adrian and Aubrey doing the same old, same old things, but hey they're awesome as well and I love every single minute of it. I wouldn't want anyone else.

"HEY ASA!" I hear a girl say running over to us.

Asa's face turns into a fake laugh and says, "Hey Christy!"

Christy the girl that random girl told me that she hates my guts and said that I "stole" Asa away from her! What the hell?

She stays for a couple more minutes talking to Asa disturbing our time and I just blog on my phone and try to block out the sound of her voice with her blonde hair and blue eyes. Ugh, please kill me she's driving me crazy!

Asa sees me in my own world and says, "Well Christy, I'm hanging out with my friend, Jess."

Christy looks at me and says, "Alright, well I'll see you around, Ace." Then she walks away with a giant sass ball following after her.

I put my phone down and smile, "Ace? Nickname?"

He laughs and says, "Yep, Jess short for Jessica."

We carry on all night until we were forced to leave because the restaurant was closing plus our roommates texted us that our dorm advisors are checking if everyone is in their rooms and ready for bed and no on is sneaking out past curfew.

When we get to campus, Asa asked for that kiss.

Me: Later!

Asa: Oh come on! Is it bad that I love you!

Me: Patients. I don't think you're crazy!

Rather than kissing me on the lips he kisses me on the cheek and says, "Close enough." Then goes back to his room.

I run back to mine and tell Iris every single thing that happened and sadly, even the thing about Christy.

"That bitch!" Iris said having the urge to kill her.

I move the scissors away from her and we both laugh.

"Okay, we'll deal with her in the morning." I said cleaning the makeup off my face.

Iris gets into bed and says, "Sounds like a plan!"
