Chapter 22

My first month back from London I run around laughing with everyone and make memories that are going to end.

Asa: Chicago is awesome!

Me: It really is! Only two more months before I go back and you leave to make history!

Asa: Come on Jess a year isn't that long.

Me: Ya. You know I'll wait for you.

Asa: So will I.

I go home and decided to have a nice indoor summer and watch every single Disney movie ever!

That took another month and now I only have one more month left before I go back and Asa leaves. Ugh!

I take a walk and breath in the nice July air. It's so beautiful!

Aubrey: Jess, you seem so empty.

Me: Just relaxing.

Aubrey: I just found out about Asa's acting job and leaving for a year. I'm sorry, kiddo. At least you have an awesome British accent! That turns everyone on.

Me: Aubrey, we're still going to be dating, but we just won't see our actual self, like body.

Aubrey: Cool because you're leaving in a month.

Me: Thanks for the reminder.

Me: It's going to suck when he leaves.

Aubrey: You still have Iris and Rider! Does Iris still dye her hair that lime green?

Me: Never stopped! Ugh, Iris and Rider seem like this whole Asa leaving thing is so normal, but I'm dying inside because he's going to be gone for a year! A YEAR AUBREY!

Aubrey: Just make the most of this month then you have two more weeks and you're gone. Remember your speech last month? You said what makes memories is that they end. Listen to yourself.

Me: You're right! Thanks Aubrey!

Aubrey: Your welcome, Kiddo! WAIT!

Me: What?!

Aubrey: You never brought back my British boyfriend!

Me: He got shipped somewhere else and got lost in the different flights! Whoops!

Aubrey: Alright. Let's go have some fun!
