Waking up, I found that I was now in the medical room. Next to my bed sat Kierin asleep and I could smell my family and the pack nurses outside the door. The doctor was further away.
Trying not to make a sound, I got out of bed. Instantly I regretted it as pain shot up my spine. I crumpled to the floor in a heap, too weak to call for help.
Suddenly, warm hands wrapped around me before carrying me over to the bed. I looked up to see Kierin, with a worried expression on his face.
"Don't get up, you need rest," was all he said to me.
I grunted, unable to use my usually sarcastic mouth.
Kierin went back to his seat and sat silently. I just lay on the bed wondering why he was so worried. We only ever see eachother in school and haven't ever had a proper conversation.
So why does he care so much about me?
Once the pain in my spine subsided I was able to speak again. Thank the Goddess for wolf healing abilities.
"Why are you so worried about me if you don't even know me?"
Kierin mumbled something in reply and even with wolf hearing I only heard the end of it.
"You don't care about me! Infact the only conversation we've ever had was swearing at each other!"
When I said this Kierin turned around to face me and looked me in the eyes.
"What age are you?"
Really? He wants to ask me about my age?
"Sixteen next Wednesday," I hesitantly replied.
He nodded to himself after hearing this, as if my age was of great importance.
There was no point in me asking his age since I already knew. All the teen wolves had attended his sixteenth birthday last Saturday. All except my group and I that is.
"So... Is there a reason you're in here with me?" He looked hurt by my words but I really couldn't give a fuck.
"I wanted to make sure you were safe."
"Why?" My question seemed to infuriate him and he grabbed my chin, turning my face so I would look up at him.
"Because I want to!" He spat before letting go of me and going back to his position on his chair.
Well isn't he nice.
I don't know for how long we sat there but eventually I grew restless and wanted to see my family.
Why are you guys waiting outside?
I asked through the mind link.
We are under strict orders from Alpha Kierin to stay out, under all circumstances, if you get what I mean.
My brother Max replied. Ugh.
How long have I been in here?
All night, today is Wednesday.
I sighed and rolled over to face the window.
"Turn back around," Kierin said through gritted teeth.
"Why?" I questioned.
"Because I said so." Oh now that's just mature.
I stayed still, refusing to obey his words. He growled, but as I thought didn't do anything.
I was drifting off into sleep when my tummy rumbled and I realised just how hungry I really was. I didn't want to ask Kierin for anything right now, but I sure as hell was hungry.
I rolled back over swiftly, the pain frim when I move almost completely gone, and poked Kierin's arm.
"What?" He asked, not even bothering to look at me.
"I'm hungry, get me food."
Okay, so maybe I shouldn't disrespect my alpha, but for some reason I wanted to. I suppose I just want to test his limits.
"Only if you say please," a smirk etching onto his face as he said this.
"Hell no!" I shouted.
"Then I guess you'll go hungry..."
Awe fuck. Say please, or starve. Dammit.
"Ugh, please you stupid iguana child."
He started laughing at my insult, then thought more about what I said and started growling.
"Did you just call me stupid?"
"Maybe... But since you're not sure of what I said I think you must be stupid."
Kierin practically blew up at what I just said and lunged at me. Since I just lay there, it was no problem for him to straddle me and pin down my arms above my head.
"Apologise," he demanded, his eyes turning from green to almost black. The darkness really suited his already dark, short-cut hair.
"Not this again," I muttered under my breath. But of course, he heard me. I thought he was going to yell at me when his eyes lighted up with a bright idea.
"Apologise or we'll stay in this position!" He anounced proudly.
My cheeks burned a dark crimson when I realised what he was implying. I wasn't going to let him get away with that.
"We can stay in this position for aslong as you want," I told him, "it's not like I'm ever going to give you some."
This time it was my turn to smirk and Kierin's eyes went even darker, filled with rage and something else I'm not quite sure of.
He began stroking my cheek, which was kinda disturbing, and I looked around the room for an escape plan. On the bedside table was a key, presumably to the door. I then looked down at how he was holding me, realising I could move my legs.
"Hey Kierin?"
"Yeah..." He mumbled, not really paying that much attention.
"This is for being a pervert," I told him, raising my knee to hit him where the lights don't shine before he could reply.
He let go of my hands and I pushed him off of me and onto the floor where he curled up in pain. Grabbing the key I sprinted to the door and unlocked it, running out into the hall.
I then locked the door behind me, trapping alpha pervert in there.
Turning around I saw my family and the nurses were staring at me in shock. Basically everyone there.
Well, apart from Max, who was laughing his head off.
"You do realise that won't hold him fo rlong," Max told me, "you better start running.
