Hello children! I haven't updated in like ages but eh I don't get that many readers so it's not like I'm under pressure to. So I have another story called Running from yourself (it's on my profile sooooo) and I'm updating more in that than this so I was like hey what's going on in the world of Aine!!! So I decided to be dramatic and shit before giving some really juicy shit in the next chapter hope y'all enjoy!

By the way the song on the side is fricking awesome!

The boring week passed pretty quickly and Saturday gave relief to the mind numbing work. Right now I felt like a bit of alone time so went back to the lake, hoping I wouldn't find a wolf on patrol or Evad.

Just the thought of him sends a shiver down my spine.

Kierin didn't mention the offer again this week but I could tell he was hopeful, and to be honest I was too. Leaving Mum, Rosali and even Max would be painful, but it's not like theyre gone. Only down the road a bit.

And living further away from annoying siblings couldn't seem like a better option.

Sighing I picked up a pebble and skimmed it lightly across the water, it bounced once, then twice, three times before sinking. The sun was warm on my back even for march, the spring buds coming out on the trees. I always liked spring and autumn the best because they were the seasons of changes.

Just as I was relaxing into the sun a slight breeze made itself known to me and I wrapped my red base ball jacket tighter around me.

Well there goes my nice seasonal monologue.

Taking one last look at the lake I turned to go, if I wanted to seriously consider moving into the pack house I should probably spend more time there than any where else.

For a trial period, of course.

Deciding to take the long way round, I went to the extent of the forest bounds, my feet treading slightly on the old pot-holed road beside it. Normally the pack doesn't take notice of this road since it is technically populated by humans, but I never seemed to meet any while walking here.

Pausing I sniffed the air... No it couldn't be... Could it?

Hearing a grunt in pain I ran foward down the path, worried it was her..

Miku.

One of my human friends.

Rounding a bend I came to see a sight I honestly can not explain in words apart from these next ones here.

Miku was beating up Evad. With fire.
