A loud knock on the door had Nirosha, Jasminea and I awake and cursing. Lookinng down at Nirosha's phone that was charging next to me, I see the time is 10.28
The loud knocking continued so I steadilly got up off the floor and went to answer it. Twisting the door knob, I jump back as the door is pushed into me, my friend Shani barging into the room.
"And what time do you call this?!" Nirosha yelled at her, "we had to do a bitch triangle, not circle, TRIANGLE, since there was only three of us!"
"Even then it woulf only of been a sqaure," Shani retorted.
Jas finally looked up from her pillow, she always did take longer than the rest of us to get up. When she noticed Shani had entered the room, her annoyance made sure she was wide awake.
"Do you have no manners at all!" She started ranting, "were you raised in a barn?!"
Shani knew full well not to answer these questions but Jas would go on for hours if no one stopped her.
Looking Shani in the eyes, I asked, "Why weren't you here last night?" I then gestured around the room to the two girls on the bed and my blanket on the floor.
"I... had to help my mum look after my little brother. She's sick at the moment." After mentioning the last part Shani's eyes glazed over with sadness. We could all tell she was holding back secrets but we weren't going to make her speak. She would tell us eventually.
Deciding to break the sad silence, I winked at Shani before jumping ontop of Nirosha and Jas.
Both of them screamed and I soon joined in after Shani landed ontop of me.We burst out laughing- call us childish, but we don't want to grow up. The laughter died down when we all remembered the bitching we had to tell Shani.
"Kierin was checking me out last night." I watched as Shani's face became serious once I stated this.
"As in the Alpha?"
I nodded in reply. Only Shani really knew Kierin since the dated about four months ago. She ened the relationship after he became too possessive, not even letting her hang out with us.
"Be careful," she warned me, "he has a way of getting what he wants."
"Oh don't worry," smiling, I replied, "I can always slap him with my goat."
Once again we all burst out laughing, well, except for Jasminea who looked slightly pissed.
"There is no goat!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air.
I winked at her, Nirosha and Shani only laughing louder.
Looking at the time again, I decided to leave. It was 10.38 and I had to go home to cook lunch for my family. Today is Tuesday, my day, and my family love having lunch early.
Leaving my friends to fill Shani in about all the bitching, I climbed out the window and started running through the forest. I began thinking of what plans to make for my birthday when I heard movement behind me.
Remembering my training, I acted as if I hadn't heard anything and took a turn, hiding behind an old oak tree.
Sure enough, about five seconds later, a few boys fom my pack came round the corner.
How did I not realise they're in my pack, I hear you ask? Blame it on the amount of lynx they wear, that's all you can smell off them.
I stood there with my arms crossed, looking unimpressed, until one of the three 'bad-boys' spoke.
"Why were you running through the forest?" He looked kinda cute with blonde hair and blue eyes, however didn't have much muscle so I guessed he was a runner.
Feeling moody, I muttered "so I could find Narnia..." Of course, with wolf hearing, they all heard me. The others two boys, twins presumably with the same dark hair and brown eyes, cracked up at my remark.
The blonde however, looked pissed. "Don't play smart with me girl!" He whisper shouted. Sooooo scary! Note the sarcasm.
Inspecting the nails on my right hand, I stated, "ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer."
By now blonde boy was so pissed I was pretty sure his wolf would take over.
"More to the point, why were you following me?" I quesioned.
After asking this, all the boys suddenly looked nervous, you might even say scared.
Suspicious...
My wolf told me. Well duh!
No need to be sarcastic with me... I'm going to take a nap.
Fine, be like that.
I studied all the boys carefully, they clearly hadn't ben trained to deal with interrogation. Well this woudl be fun...
"Should I maybe report this to Beta Luke? Or better yet, to the Alpha?" Thanks to these words, I could finally smell something other than lynx around me: fear.
"Tell me while your following me, or I'll report you," I said, trying to make my voice as sweet, sickly and bitchy as possible.
One of the brunettes looked like he was about to crack so I growled at hikm, causing them all to jump back.
"We were told to follow you by the soon to be alpha- he said not to let you see us!" The brunette rushed out, "please don't tell him you know!"
Why the hell would Kierin want to stalk me? Meh, I'll find out sooner or later.
"I'll let this drop- but only if you keep better distance between us the next time you decide to follow me." The boys all relaxed after I said this and they scampered away, thanking me for my kindness.
Well, whatever gets you to sleep at night.
I made it home around 11.10, the five minute run ending up taking twenty. Luckily most of my family weren't awake yet. Notice the most.
Rosali was sitting at the island in the kitchen, arms crossed and a look that could kill.
It was th ehalf term break, the february one, so I had hoped no one would of woken up until later. Hell fate did hate me.
"Don't tell mum, and I'll make you what ever dessert you want," I bargained.
Rosali looked as if she was considering my offer, then answered, "make it a triple hot chocolate fudge cake, only for me, no one else."
Goddess why isn't she fat.
"Fine," I moaned, "anything you would like for lunch?"
"Chilli," she stated before hopping off her stool, skipping out the kitchen, her curly hair bobbing up and down behind her.
