A day had passed since the kiss, Kierin had been trying to talk to me the entire time but I just didn't feel up to it.
I had been so sure, so headstrong. I was going to be an independant she wolf (shakira would be proud) and live life how I wanted.
Seems like you wanted him back there in the cupboard.
Oh shutup you're a part of me, so this is partly your fault.
What, that you accidentally let him back in?
Key word there being accidentally. That's all it was. An accident.
Who am I kidding, it wasn't an accident. We totally made out in there for longer than any accident would take. But it's not happening again. Under any circumstances.
"Yo! Aine! You up there?"
"Just packing the last box Jas!"
"Awesome, tell me when you're done and I'll get Calen to bring them down."
Sighing, I picked up the last few items on my desk and shoved them into a cardboard box. To get things over with I was moving into the pack house as soon as possible, meaning today. The room I'd be getting there would be bigger however I'd have to share with a pack member. I'm sure they'll be nice.
Before calling down to Jas downstairs that I'm finished, I walked into my bathroom to give myself a quick once over. Couldn't have myself looking to shabby infront of the pack.
Not that they haven't seen my awesomeness before.
I did my hair in a fishtails braid on my right side, thankful for the extra movement in my arms as the burns healed up. The marks were there, and would be for a few weeks at least, but the pain had decreased rapidly over the space of one night.
I wore no makeup to even bother to try and conceal the burns that crawled up my neck and onto the left side of my face. They would be gone soon and in a way, they showed I'm tough; a surviver.
Shutting the bathroom door one last time, I walked down the stairs to where the guys were in the living room.
Yeah, I could've probably carried atleast one box, but they didn't need to know that.
"Calen get your butt up there and get my stuff."
"Why only me?" He made a pouty face like a puppy but it didn't sway me one bit.
"Because you love us that much now go."
He walked out the room grumbling something along the lines of 'stupid bighead' and up the staris to my, now, bare room.
Only Jas and Miku were in the room with me, the others were checking out my room in the pack house.
"We better get going then." I nodded in acknowledgement to Miku. Having her around, a non-werewolf friend, was pretty cool. We could trust her to keep our secret, plus the whole fire thing she had going on, way better than anything I've ever heard of.
The car ride was mainly filled with me shoving boxes out of my face and into some one elses whilst Calen would whine about how we made him to do all the work.
Yah. Cause I care.
It only took two minutes but I swear it was probably the longest to minutes of my life.
"Okay guys, if we all pitch in we can help Aine get her boxes in quicker,"
"I agree with Miku!" Calen shouted from under a box, his hand clawing out behind it like a recently wokrn zombie.
