I mean I never thought people would look at my story much so thank you guysssssss

It was about time for dinner, I had just finished unpacking all my boxes and let's say Victoria hasn't been in the vicinity for... About the entire time.

The other's were being kind of idiotic, I mean please, if you're gonna help me unpack my stuff, do not go throw my stuff at people in the hallways or look at my underwear, COUGH COUGH CERTAIN ALPHA COUGH.

But apart from that, the helped me absolutely not at all. 

Such friends.

I shoved on a purple hoody and some leggings and sneakers, not really wanted blemishes to be all the pack saw at my first official dinner with them. I had a cute scarf tying my hair of my face, and a touch of concealer applied around my neck and chin to make it seem like I was never burned at all.

Smiling, I left my new room and skipped down the staris towards the dining room. Usually when I was with the girls we would sneak food up or just order pizza, but I wanted this to be done properly.

As I turned the corner I heard the chattering becoming steadilly louder until I got to the door and flinged it open. Everyone was quite rowdy, not surprising though as we were mostly teens.

The older pack members usually like having their own houses, especially with when they had pups, though all of the teens were dumped here and a few adults stayed to make sure we were alrihgt.

I wonder why.

"Oi look who's here!"

"Oh that's nobody, she was rejected. Coulda been our Luna ya know..."

"Kierin must be blind, look at that fine ass!"

I blushed furiously and yaqnked my hoody down over my legging covered ass. Maybe the tight clothes weren't the best choice....

My friends were all sitting in a group down at the end and I quicjly found refuge from the crowd. To be honest it was the same atmosphere as the school canteen. Except obviously there were on humans and the wolf talk was let loose.

Shani and Jas were giggling like mad as I walked over to them, where of course, they had not saved me a seat.

"One of you get me a chair or move your ass."

"Wow! Bossy much!" 

"Shutup Jas," I sighed, "you guys have seriously got to stop messing with me today."

"And why's that?"

"Bec-"

"Because I said so." Kierin was suddenly behind me, his hands inches from wrapping around me. The lack of contact was seriously killing me, me of all people!

"Er, thanks Kierin... I can kinda stand up for myself you know."

"She wants you to do other stuff for her that's why!" I shot Shani a look and she instantly shut up. They were seriously pissing me off today.

I gasped as Kierin's hands did infact wrap around my waist. "It's okay baby girl, I want to do that stuff for you too," he mumble into my neck.

Well..... I guess just flirting a little couldn't hurt....

He guided us both towards some empty chairs and pulled out a chair for me. I smiled my thanks and sat down. He can be a gentleman I see.

Soon plates of pasta were brought out by a few members of the pack, nothing fancy just fusilli and some meatballs in tomato sauce. Kierin frowned down at his plate, and I couldn't help but ask why. 

"What's up your ass?" I know, classy.

He picked the coriander sprig on his pasta off his plate and placed it on mine, then gave me a big smile.

"They always go to extra lengths to impress me, but really you deserve the best presented food more."

I blushed for the second time during that meal. I probably look like an overgrown tomato here but oh well, guess I'll have to suck it up.

We spent most of our meal in silence, ignoring the chatter around us and the mixture of jealous and, yep, probably more jealous looks. 

Pudding was banoffee pie and I almost die; I had literally been craving this all day.

I dug in but before long Kierin started laughing at my side.

"Whaso funny?" My mouth probably looked disgusting full of pie.

He brought his hand up and rubbed away some cream that was apparently on my nose, then licking his cream covered fingers.

Okay I'm now realising this is too much. I can't do this.

"Kierin, I-"

"Please, atleast pretend for the rest of this meal." My heart broke a little at the pleading in his voice.... He was trying so hard to make this work.

"I'm sorry, that wouldn't be fair on either of us. I can't do this." 

I got up to leave and he grabbed my wrist, I shrugged him off and walked a bit quicker to the door.

He wasn't following me, and as glad as I was, that did sting a little on the inside.

I sighed and sat down on the stair case. The distant chatter of the ongoing meal keeping me in reality, I thought about everything in my life at the moment. 

So I had a mate, was rejected, basicslly moved in with him, got burned to a cinder at some point and now I keep thinking  I'm in a relationship with said ex-mate.

Just dandy.

The sound of the front door closing snapped me into focus, I could smell someone knew and I think I know who.

Evad.

"Well look who it is."

"Fuck off."

"I only want my coat-"

"I burned it now fuck off."

"Now now, why would I do that when you're mine?"

"What?!" I stood up, outraged. That fucking bastard!

"Come now, you think I'd let Kierin waste such a beautiful young wolf? Oh no, we're a thing now sweetheart." 

He walked closer to me with impossible speed, gripping my burnt forearm so hard I let out a shout panicked yelp. He bared fangs at me, not even the usual wolf kind. Full blown, go sparkle in the sun, fangs.

I was about to scream when I saw Victoria in the corner of my eye. She was holdding a base ball bat, and for once I was thank ful to see her.

"Don't looked so relieved honey, I can't let you steal my man."

"Wha- what?"

She gave me an evil grin and stalked towards us.

"You heard me... Getting you out the way will be easy enough aswell. Just have to make you look dead..."

Tears built up behind my eyes but I held them down. I refused to respond incase my voice came out shaky and weak.

Evad nodded to her and she brought the bat down on my head. She whacked over and over, getting a few to my ribs and back. 

Evad had dropped me long ago, I was doing all I could to hold back my screams. It got easier however as the black dots appeared, and soon I was completely out of it.
