I felt like I was going to burst into tears without even know what he was going to say. “Look.” He said taking a deep breath. I felt a knot in my throat my eyes started to fill with tears. “What’s wrong?” He asked and stepped towards me “Nothing just finish.” I said looking away from him. I’m not going to tell him I read that text, but I have a feeling he wants her back.

“Aaliyah you look like you’re going to cry.” He said “No I’m okay it must be the lighting in here just finish with what you want to talk about.”I said. “Okay, look Selena texted me.” He said

“and?..” I asked “Well she wants to see me when I get back to talk about us.” “Oh that’s great Justin. I hope everything works out for you.” I said “Wait.. What are you talking about?” He asked

“Well you going to talk to her right? I’m sure you guys will work things out.” Justin looked at me puzzled “Why are you saying this? I thought we were a couple now.” He questioned “You mean you don’t want to work things out with her?” I asked “There is still a major part of me still in love with her.”

“That’s what I thought.” I said walking away “Aaliyah wait you didn’t let me finish. I will always love her Aaliyah but only because she was my first love and I thought we’d be together forever.

There is a place in my heart that has your name on it and it is so powerful it is holding me back from going back to her. Every time I think about her you come into my head” He said

 “Sorry I’ll stop.” I said He pushes me up against the wall “Aaliyah your not listening I don’t want you to stop I love thinking about you 24/7. You are the only person who has been able to get my mind off of her since the break up and I am grateful for that. She hurt me bad and I don’t want to feel that pain every again.”He said as he kissed my forehead and whispered “I love you!” I grab the back of his neck and pull his lips down to mine I kiss him hard and immediately insert my tongue in his mouth. After 10 minutes we stop and I say “I love you too Justin.” I give him one last kiss before we exit the shark dome. People are starting to come so we rush off like nothing happened.

We enjoy the rest of the day at the zoo stopping every now and then to get pictures with people and sign things. I’m not the type that gets mad when people ask to get pictures or something I like making people happy. We are on our way to the parking lot when a group of guys come up and ask to get a picture; they look like they might be in college. I say yes and ask Justin to take the picture; you could tell he wasn’t very happy but he agreed. I take a picture with the group and then each boy individually. One of the boys asks if they can pick me up for his picture. “Yeah sure.” I said.

Before I knew it he picks me up so I was straddling him, I wrapped my hands around his neck. Justin’s face lit up he was not happy at all. We looked at the camera and Justin took the picture. “Okay put her down.” Justin growled. “Whoa dude what’s your problem.” The boy asked “You.” Justin said before they could argue anymore potentially starting a fight I stepped in.

“Well it was great meeting you guys but we are late for something.” I said “No we.” I grabbed Justin’s hand and pulled him before he could finish his sentence. We get in the car. “Justin you have to be careful you can’t just fight every guy who looks at me or asks to take a crazy picture.” I said calmly. “Yes, I can.” He said “Okay so does that mean I can go beat up Selena?” I asked

“Well no.” He said lowering his head. “Exactly.” I said and I laid my head on his chest.  “I’m sorry.” He said kissing the top of my head. “It’s okay.” I said. We decided to go get dinner before returning to the hotel. We pull up to a very expensive restaurant. “Justin I can’t let you pay here it’s too expensive.” I said.

“Babe, its fine I can afford it not to bring her up but I rented out the whole staples center for dinner and a movie with Selena, I think I can handle paying a bill.” He said chuckling “Okay.” I said. Before we got out of the car I kissed him. He smiled and opened the door. There were tons of paparazzi taking pictures, more than the usual number we’ve seen while we’ve been here. We walk into the restaurant while Justin is talking to the busboy I look over to see Selena sitting at a table with a friend. Oh god what is she doing here? I wonder to myself. “Let’s sit in a booth.” I said to Justin. “Okay. We would like a booth.”

The booths and regular tables are on opposite sides of the restaurant. We walk hand in hand over to the table and sit down. I sit down on the side facing the tables so Justin doesn’t see her. We tell the waiter what we want to eat and drink. “So did you have a good time today?” He asked

“Yeah it was great especially the shark dome.” I said with a wink. Every time Justin looked away I kept peeking over at Selena.  After about 10minutes he caught me. “What are you looking at?” He asked “Oh nothing, umm just the dessert cart.” He didn’t buy it he looked over and sure enough he saw her.
