I looked at Justin and he turned back to Scooter “What is there to talk about?” He asked “Well first let’s talk business.” Scooter said Justin nodded and gave Scooter his full attention.

“Well first off you’re about to get super busy with touring you won’t have much down time but I thought about what you said about Ryan and Chaz joining you for the last couple months of the tour in the states and I think it’s a good idea. So go ahead and make arrangements for that.” He said “Okay great.” Justin said

 “Second of all I know Twist talked to you and I know things didn’t go well I only hope he doesn’t try to ruin things for you I know how he feels about Aaliyah and since he is staying in your house he may try to give away you’re secrets. I hope he is a better person than that but we don’t know what’s going on in his head.” Scooter said Justin grabbed my hand under the table rubbing it with his thumb to reassure me everything is okay as Scooter continued to talk “I see how happy you are Justin and I don’t want that ruined especially by someone who is doing it out of jealousy and envy. He wants what you have Justin so just play it safe.” He said

“Yeah we are being careful” Justin said “Not as careful as you think.” Scooter said laying a picture down on the table. My eyes widened as I see Justin holding me as we engage in a kiss from a few days ago when Justin and I were first reunited. “Where did that come from?” Justin asked “I have some friends that are magazine editors and a man brought in the picture and they gave it to me instead of putting it in the magazine.”Scooter said “Oh gosh.” I said covering my face with my free hand “its okay we got lucky on this one but you never know where one of those slimy no good picture takers are.”Scooter said

“Yeah but still I can’t believe I let this happen.” I said standing up “I have to go to the bathroom.” I said walking away. I hear Pattie say “Go check on her.” As I disappeared behind the wall I sat down on a bench by the bathroom laying my face in my hands. I soon felt a hand on my back.

 I looked up to see Justin sitting next to me “Hey everything is okay don’t stress over it.” He said “Yeah but what if we wouldn’t have gotten so lucky Justin? What would we have done if that picture would have gotten out? Our careers would be ruined.” I said as tears began to well up in my eyes. “yeah but it didn’t and if it would have we would deal with it. Aaliyah I love you and I’m not going to lose you over some stupid picture. Yeah we should have been more careful. We just have to watch what we do in front of my house.” He said chuckling

 “Well I’m glad you find this funny. Justin if that picture got out and Hef saw it I’d be in so much trouble I promised him we wouldn’t get caught and I wouldn’t ruin his reputation. He can’t be known as the guy with 3 girlfriends and a wife and it get out that one of the most important assets to the company has been cheating on him because he’d have to cover his ass and he’d say he didn’t know and I’d be the bad guy.. Justin I can’t do that I can’t lose everything!” I said

“Aaliyah you need to calm down you aren’t losing anything. Everything is going to be alright I promise.” He said “Uggh… I don’t know Justin.” I said “You don’t know what? What are you saying Aaliyah because it sounds to me like you don’t think we should be together.”He said I looked at him “Is that what you’re saying?” He asked

“No of course not I love you more than anything Justin. I just freak out easily I guess.” I said grabbing his hand “Okay good because I really don’t want to lose you Aaliyah I know you’ve made sacrifices so we could be together but so have I.” He said “I know, I’m sorry.” I said. “It’s okay baby" he said pulling me into a hug “Let’s go eat.” He said standing and reaching down to grab my hand.

We walked back out to Scooter and Pattie “Everything okay?” Pattie asked “Yeah fine.” I said even though I know they heard everything there is literally no other guests here so it’s extremely quiet and we were rather loud. She mouthed the words “It’s alright… breathe.” I nodded and took a deep breathe. We ate dinner and talked about things like the weather and Justin touring.
