Here Comes Your Man.

The girls and I arrived at the premier, a man opened our door and we each got out of the car. We began walking the carpet. “Aaliyah over here!” people began yelling as I stopped to pose for pictures. It was so crazy everyone was screaming for me to face them so they could get the perfect picture.

We continued walking the carpet stopping occasionally to get our picture taken. We walked up to one of the interviewers “Aaliyah how are you doing tonight?” She asked “I’m great.” I replied “Are you excited for the movie?” She asked

“Yeah, I loved Never Say Never. Hef actually took the girls to see it when it came out but that was before my career took off. I went like 10 times with friends back home.” I said smiling

“Oh wow it’s crazy how quickly things can change in a few years from watching the movie with friends and now being at the second movies premier.” She said “I know it’s all very crazy.” I said

“So what are you most excited to see?” She asked “Umm, I think I’m most excited to see him talk about Avalanna.” I said “Yeah that’s going to be a tough scene. Well enjoy the movie.” She said “Thanks.” I said walking away from her.

I posed for a few more pictures “Aaliyah.” I hear someone yell I turned around and saw Scooter motioning for me. I walked over to him “You look beautiful.” He said hugging me. “Thanks you look good too.” I said

“Thanks. So do you want to go ahead inside before Justin gets here they should be pulling up any minute. I think Justin and his friends will be sitting behind you.” He said “Alright.” I said smiling

I met up with the girls and we walked inside grabbing some popcorn before taking our seats. They had the premier playing live on the screen. We watched as Justin’s party van pulled up.

“Here comes your man.” Crystal whispered tapping my leg; I looked at her and smiled. They got out of the car all wearing their sunglasses. “Do they know its dark out?” Kendall asked laughing, I laughed at her.

We watched them walk down the carpet stopping to pose for some pictures before they finally arrived at the interviewer. She asked him some questions and he seemed weird he was chewing his gum and being short with his answers.

She said “Your fans have been up in arms with you joking around that you’re going to retire. So please, reassure them that theres gonna be a lot more…”

Justin cut her of “I don’t know if that’s a joke.” He stated with no expression on his face. “Oh it’s not a joke?” She questioned “I don’t know.” He said “So are you gonna take a little break?” She asked “I don’t know.” He replied plainly still chewing his gum.

She asked him a few more questions then she told him he could go talk to fans. He asked to say something she handed him the microphone and he introduced Khalil and Maejor Ali, then he walked off down the carpet.

“Well that wasn’t what I was expecting.” Crystal said looking at me “Yeah me neither.” I replied with a weird look on my face.

The purple carpet premier finally ended and I didn’t really pay attention to what else they showed because all I could think about was Justin’s attitude. The theater filled up and Justin came in and made a speech in front of the screen before the movie.

Then he made his way up to his seat to meet with his friends. The movie started and I could hear Justin and his friends talking.

Halfway through the movie I felt a piece of popcorn hit my head I turned around to see Justin’s friends laughing. “Seriously? Grow up.” I half whispered “Damn baby girl chill we’re just having fun.” One of them said I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

They continued to laugh and talk, I texted Justin.

Aaliyah- Can you guys quiet down some of us actually want to see this movie.

Justin- Chill Aaliyah

I was so angry at how he was acting his friends are being rude and he acts different around them you could tell by the interview he did earlier. I grabbed my purse off the floor and stood up “Where are you going?” Crystal asked “I need some air.” I said

“Uh oh JB your girls mad.” Someone whispered to him I turned to them and saw Justin laughing with them. I rolled my eyes and walked out; I walked behind a wall and leaned against it letting out a deep breath.

 Justin emerged from the doors and walked over to me “Hey babe I’m sorry they are just having fun don’t be so tense.” He said wrapping his arms around me. “I just feel like they’re being rude people are trying to watch the movie and don’t need to have popcorn thrown at them or be distracted by them laughing.” I said

“I’m sorry come back in and finish the movie I’ll tell them to settle down.” He said kissing my forehead. I agreed and I walked inside the theater and a couple minutes later Justin walked in.

The boys stayed quiet for the rest of the movie after it ended everyone stood up and applauded.

The theater began to empty quickly and I went to meet Justin in a back hallway of the theater. I walked up to Justin and his friends. “Hey.” I said “Hi.” Justin replied turning back to talk with his friends. “So are we going to hang out tonight?” I asked

“I don’t know.” He replied not looking at me I grabbed his hand “Well do you want to be together tonight I thought we could be alone for the night.” I said “I don’t know the boys want to go out.” He said turning to face me.

“So you’re going out with them?” I asked “Yeah we’re gonna turn up!” He replied moving his arms in a dancing motion. “Yeah!” The boys yelled “Whatever.” I said turning around and beginning to walk away.

“Aaliyah wait.” Justin said “Don’t worry JB there will be plenty of other hunnies at the club!” Someone said, the other boys began laughing.

I turned around “Yeah go find another hunny at the club.” I said “Ohh JB you’re in trouble.” One of the boys said Justin smirked “She’ll get over it.” He said laughing slapping fives with one of them.

I walked out and got into the car “Where to Aaliyah?” The driver asked “Just take me home.” I replied wiping a tear from my eye.

I walked into my room and plopped down on my bed Phoenix came over and licked my face. “Hey baby.”I said kissing her head

“Why does Justin have to act so rude in front of his friends.” I asked, phoenix just looked at me wagging her tail I know she didn’t understand what I was saying but it felt nice to ask it aloud.

I expected Justin to text me apologizing for his actions but I didn’t receive a text so I just went to bed.

I woke up and decided I didn’t want to move from my bed. I didn’t look at my phone or talk to anyone I just laid there thinking of all that happened last night. I began to wonder if I overreacted maybe I shouldn’t have said anything to Justin I should have just let him have a fun night with his friends.

In reality though we were both wrong he shouldn’t have acted so rude while with his friends he was showing off…acting cool and that wasn’t alright but maybe I should have been a little calmer about the situation.

I’ve laid here all day and no one has bothered me I looked at the clock and it was 6:00pm that means dinner is in half an hour. There was a knock on my door “Come in.” I said

Hef walked in “Are you coming down for dinner?” He asked. “I don’t think so I don’t feel very good.” I replied “Alright doll feel better.”He said walking out.

I rolled over and faced the wall, I grabbed my phone and turned it off I don’t feel like talking to anyone, and then I went to bed.
