How Did I Get So Lucky?

We finally made it to Justin’s grandparents house it was beautiful Justin bought it for them it has a ton of land with riding trails and it’s just gorgeous. As we walked up to the door I asked “Do they know we’re coming?” “Nope.” I said as he rang the doorbell “Coming” Diane yelled

She yelled out “Bruce!” with the biggest smile ever as she saw us through the glass door. She hurried to the door and opened it and Bruce appeared in the entry way to the living room. “We had no idea you were coming! Oh we’re so happy to see you.” She said as she pulled Justin into a hug. Bruce began to cry as he hurried over to hug Justin.

Diane hugged me “How have you been sweetie?” She asked “Pretty good how about you?” I asked “Even better now.” She said glancing at Justin. Bruce came over and hugged me “He’s been good to you right?” He asked “Couldn’t be better” I said smiling “Good, Don’t want to have to hurt him.”He said hitting Justin’s arm jokingly.

“Well come on in.” Diane said. We walked in and Justin’s security took our bags up to Justin’s room; which I haven’t seen yet but I’m super excited to. “Are you guy’s hungry?” Diane asked “Starving.” Justin said “I’ll go make something.” She said walking into the kitchen “I’ll help.” I yelled in to her “Go spend time with your grandpa.” I said smiling “I love you.” He said smiling “I love you too.” I said kissing his cheek before walking into the kitchen. “How does macaroni and cheese sound?” She asked “Very good.” I replied

We cooked and talked about everything from Justin to the weather. “Well it’s done want to go get the boys?” She asked “Yeah sure.” I said standing from the stool. I walked into the living room and Justin and Bruce were watching a Toronto Maple Leafs game on TV. I walked over beside Justin “Guys lunch is ready.” I said “The game is almost over.” Justin said grabbing my hand and pulling me down next to him on the couch.

 I watched as the cocked ticked down and the Maple leafs were about to shoot the puck into the goal for the win. “3...2...1 Score!” Bruce yelled. He and Justin jumped up and hugged overly excited by the win I giggled at their outburst. Diane appeared in the doorway laughing “Alright boys let’s eat.” She said Justin reach his hand out helping me off the couch. We walked in and sat at the table “Who’s saying grace?” Diane asked “I’ll do it.” Bruce said

He said grace and we ate Justin and Bruce kept talking about the game Diane looked and me laughing and rolled her eyes “So Justin what have you been up to?” She asked “Just working on some new music, I also signed a new artist Madison so I’ve been helping her.” He said “That’s great.” She said. We finished eating “Go change into something that can get ruined.” He said to me I looked at him with questionable eyes then went upstairs to change.

I came back downstairs “I’m going to take Aaliyah out on the trail.” Justin said as he helped put the plates in the sink “Okay sweetie be careful.” She said

He grabbed my hand and led me to the garage that had a couple cars and some 4 wheelers in it. He helped me onto the back of one of the 4 wheelers before climbing on in front of me. He slowly pulled out of the garage then when we were out of view of the house he said “You ready?” “For what?” I asked he then sped up almost as fast as it’d go going through a big mud puddle drenching us both in mud I screamed as I squeezed him from behind. He started laughing as he slowed down stopping in the middle of the woods. “Man you’re all muddy.”He said smirking “Yeah wonder why.” I said laughing

“It’s so pretty out here.”I said climbing in front of him resting my head on his chest. “Yeah it’s a good place to get away and just relax.” He said. We sat and listened to the birds “You know I wouldn’t go back if we didn’t have to.” I said “I’d just stay here in Canada with you forever.” I added

 “That’d be great. I mean I love what I do but sometimes I wish I was just like every other 19 year old.” He said “Yeah me too…. But then we would have never met if we both didn’t follow our dream.” I said “Yeah that would’ve sucked.” He said turning me around to kiss him.  I turn my whole body so I’m straddling him not removing my lips from his. I moved down his neck kissing what parts that weren't covered in mud “You know this is kind of exotic.” I said kissing him again.

Then two 4 wheelers pull up “Get a room you’re in the woods not a hotel.” Someone yells “Hey man!” Justin yelled as he got off the bike to slap hands with Chaz “Hey Ry.” He yelled running over to his bike to hug him. My face is so red from embarrassment “Guys this is Aaliyah.” Justin said “Don’t be embarrassed this isn’t the first time we caught Justin with a girl.” Ryan said laughing

“Dude that was like 7th grade and we were playing truth or dare.” Justin yelled out causing me to laugh I got off the bike “It’s nice to meet you.” I said shaking Chaz’s hand. “No it’s nice to meet you. It’s an honor.” He said kissing my hand “Not to be weird or anything but I’ve seen your work… very nice.” He added causing me to blush “Chaz!” Justin yelled “No it’s okay.” I said looking at Justin “Thanks Chaz.” I said I then walked over and shook hands with Ryan. He was gentler and very polite.

“So are we gonna race or not?” Chaz yelled out “If you don’t mind getting beat by a girl.” I said running over and getting on the bike. “Look like you’ve got some competition Chaz.” Justin said “ha yeah right.” Chaz said “Alright first one to the hay bales win.” Ryan said “Ready … Set…Go.” Justin yelled and Chaz and I took off he was ahead of me at first then I hit the gas and sped right past him and the hay bales. “I win.” I yelled “No fair you cheated.” Chaz yelled “Whatever you’re just mad you lost.” I said stopping the bike. Justin and Ryan came over “Good job Aaliyah. I didn’t know you could ride.” Chaz said “I used to live on farm land …I can ride” I said winking at him I saw his cheeks blush a little. "Yeah she can definitely ride!" Justin said with a wink "Oh god!" I said blushing

The boys raced each other for a couple hours and then we just rode around through the mud a while then it started getting dark “Well we better get back to the house before grandpa freaks.” Justin said we all agreed and headed back to the house. We parked the bikes in the garage “We’ll we’re gonna get going we’ll see you tomorrow.” Ryan said “Okay see ya.” Justin said hugging them “It was nice meeting you guys.” I said “You too.” They both said before getting in Ryan’s mustang and heading out of the driveway. Diane appeared in the doorway you guys aren't coming in here all muddy go wash off with the hose." She said

We washed the mud off with the hose and hurried up to Justin's room to change.

We walked into the living room Bruce and Diane were on the couch watching a movie, Justin and I sat with them and finished the movie. “Alright we’re going to bed make sure you guys shut off the TV and lights before you go to bed.” Diane said “Actually I’m tired now too.” Justin said standing up hugging his grandparent’s goodnight I hugged them too and we all walked up stairs and went our separate ways to bed. His room was full of Toronto Maple Leaf stuff and a few awards he has won and a Michael Jackson poster.

We took quick showers and changed into comfy clothes “Are you sure they don’t mind me sleeping in here with you?”I asked Justin looked at me and smiled “They can’t really tell me no” He said “Yes they can it’s their house.” I said sitting down on the bed “Trust me its fine they would have said something.” He said “Relax.” He added as he untucked the blankets and laid down

“Come lay down baby.” He said I smiled and lay down next to him he pulled me closer to him pressing his warm body against mine. “How did I get so lucky?” He asked as he kissed my shoulder. “I’m the lucky one.” I said rolling over to kiss him. “I love you baby goodnight.” He said “I love you too Goodnight Justin.” I said
