As we ran, we neared the boarder to Alpha Luke's land. Wolfs were waiting on the boarder. They nodded, alowing us to past their land. I ran at full speed. Even Damian had troubles keeping up with my fast pace.

'Slow down' He whinned in my head. I didn't respond. Emily was my everything besides my pack and Damian. She's like a sister and I promised to protect her. As we got to the pack house, we changed into our clothes. I ran inside without even knocking. A couple pack members were sitting around in the kitchen staring at us.

"Welcome Alpha Damian and Laila" Alpha Luke said with recent signs of him crying.

"Where is she?" I asked. He looked away from me. "Where is she!?!" I yelled at him. He snapped his head in my direction. Damian grabbed my arm and pulled me to his chest, Keeping me away from Luke. Luke took a breath to calm himself.

"She's upstairs, third door on the right" I ran past him and up the stairs. Damian was close on my heels. I threw open the door and Emily was sitting up in the bed with a baby in her arms. She smiled up at me.

"Laila, meet your new nephew" She said with tears in her eyes. My heart was racing and I walked over to Emily.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

"I wanted it to be a surprise" She said.

"Can I hold him?" I asked. She nodded and handed over the little baby boy in my arms. I smiled at the sleeping baby in my arms. Damian came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hello Emily. It's nice to finally meet you" Damian smiled.

"You to" She said shaking his hand. I gave the baby back to Emily. Though she is 17 like me, she had a baby. But me on the other hand. I'm just not ready for that yet and Damian knows that.

"Wait, hold up" I said holding my hands into the air. Both Damian and Emily looked at me. "If you have only known Luke for a a couple months. How did you already have baby?" I asked

"We kind of mated the first night we met" She said blush filled her cheeks instantly. I was surprised but I really didn't care. As long has he knew he loved her. That's all that mattered. Damian took my hand, signaling it was time to go,

"Well I guess we should go. Bye Emily" I gave her a huge hug and kissed her forehead. She smiled.

"I'm going to miss you" She whispered. I sighed.

"Don't worry! I'll be back! I have to get a present for my new nephew" I smiled and kissed his little head. She laughed and Damian pulled me out of the room.

"You will make a great mother you know that?" He smiled down at me. I smiled and he wrapped his arm around me. We walked down the stairs into the living room.

"Damian, can you wait outside? I want to talk to Luke" I said. He gave me an unsure look. 'I'll be fine' I said threw our mind link. He let out a breath and nodded. I watched him leave. I turned and looked at Luke, he was looking at me funny.

"What do you want to talk to me about?" He asked. His guard was up. He didn't trust me.

"Luke calm down. I'm not going to hurt my sister's mate"

"She's not your sister" He growled. I looked taken back by his words.

"When your family has been killed in front of your eyes and you only have one other person to love in your life, you consider them your sister and I swear to god Luke if you ever do anything to hurt her or the baby" I lowered my voice to a hissing whisper. "I will make damn well sure you will regret it" I growled at him. He eyes softened a bit.

"I would never hurt my mate or my baby" He whispered.

"Just making sure. I would give my life for Emily's. I will protect her with my life. And if you can't, I'll take her and make sure she's safe, with me. Are we clear?" I said.

"Yes Laila" He said.

"Goodbye Luke" I turned on my heel and left the house. I met Damian on the edge of the woods.

"I thought he was going to attack you" He growled when I reached him,

"Oh Damian, I had it well under control"

"You shouldn't have said that to an Alpha" He said taking me hand and pulling me into the woods. I'm sure Damian wasn't comfortable being on Luke's land.

"Damian, I could give a damn if he was an alpha or not. His mate is my best friend" I said. He smiled and kissed my head,

"Your one subburn little mate, you know that?" He smiled down at me. I smiled back as he hugged me closer to his side.

"Yes I do know that" He laughed. I ran ahead and hopped on a fallen down tree. I looked down at Damian. "For once I am taller" I said. Damian laughed and put his hands on my waist keeping me balanced.

"Come one baby. Let's go home" I smiled as he lifted me off the tree as if I weighted nothing to him. He set me gentally on the ground as we walked back home.
