Chapter 19

4 months

It's been four moths since Damian and I met. The best four months of my life. I was currently in the kitchen cooking for the pack members. The maids got today off. I told them they could take a break. They protested at furst but I wasn't having it. They sighed and got today off. Damian was in his office. August 1 was next week. I was nervus. Damian was trying to think of a plan with Alpha Luke. They were making a truce to keep Emily and I both as safe as possible.

I still don't know what's going to happen to me. I mean, I showed Damian that note. Will Stephen kill him earlier? I wanted to start crying at the thought of Damian dead. I focused more on the food I was making rather than the note.

"Laila" Damian whispered in my ear. I jumped but then relaxed into his touch,

"Damian" I sighed and leaned against him.

"Baby what's wrong? You seem jumpy" I turned around for the pan and looked up at him,

"It's the note Damian. If he trys to kill Emily or the baby or..." I trailed off not wanting to finish the sentance. Damian seemed to know what I was going to say. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled my shaking body into his arms.

"Shh, Laila. I can handle myself. Nothing will happen to me or you" He kissed the top of my head. I took a shakey breath and pulled away. I turned around and put dinner in the oven.

"What's the plan?" I asked him. I was going to protect Damian as well as Emily and my nephew.

"You aren't joining the fight" He said with a straight face. I scowled at him.

"If I were in a fight would you be able to sit back and do nothing?" I asked him. He thought about it for a minute before answering.

"No" He answered.

"Damian there is no way I can stay back" I whispered.

"Fine, but you are not leaving my sight at all costs" He grabbed my face with his hands and kissed me gentally. "And tomorrow everyone that is joining the fight is going to be training, as well as me. I want you to come with me and get some practice" He said with a serious face.

"Do I have to get up early?" I asked.

"Yes" He smiled at me. I pouted and dropped my shoulders. He wrapped me up in his arms and kissed my pouted lip. He can't seem to resist it. I smiled into the kiss. Someone coughed and I broke away from the kiss. Damian growled.

"We will continue this later" he whispered in my ear. I giggled and he turned around to face Daniel and his mate those name I have yet to learn.

"Hello Alpha and Luna" She said politly. I smiled and said my hi's back. Damian just nodded. He checked the oven and pulled out the pan for me. I smiled at him.

"Thank you" I whispered. He winked and turned back to his beta.

"Can I talk to you?" Daniel asked. Damian nodded and they both walked out of the room leaving me with Daniel's mate.

"So, how have you been?" She asked. I shrugged and sat next to her on the island.

"Things have been better" I said. She did a quiet laugh and looked at me. I turned and looked at her.

"I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude but what is your name?" I asked her

"Lisa" She said. I smiled and nodded. Damian and Daniel walked back into the kitchen looking at the both of us smiling.

"Are you guys hungry?" Daniel asked us. I nodded and stood up.

"When isn't Laila hungry" Damian joked. I playfully slapped his arm. He wrapped his arms around me and burried his face into my neck. I smiled and took a plate from Daniel.

"Are you hungry?" I asked Damian. He looked up at me and nodded. I put food on the plate and gave it to him. I grabbed him a fork and we settled down around the island. Since there were only two chairs I stood up while Damian sat down. I really didn't feel like sitting. He tried to get me to either sit in the chair or on his lap. I decided standing next to him.

When we were all finished, we piled our plates into the sink.

"I'm going to head up. Do you need me?" Damian asked as I started the dishes.

"Um nope. I'll be up as soon as I'm done" He kissed me and winked. I watched him turn and walk out of the kitchen. I threw away some left over food on the plates. I noticed the garbage was full. I sighed and took it out. I tied it up and set it on the floor. Reaching under the sink I pulled out another trash bag. I turned off the water and grabbed the full bag. I unlocked the back door and stepped out into the cold night air. I walked in the cold wet grass around the house to the garbage bin.

Have you ever had the feeling your being watched? Yeah, well I had that feeling. I opened the bin and threw the trash in the bin. I closet it and quickly glancing over my shoulder. I couldn't shake the feeling. I started quickly walking to the door. A rag slipped over my mouth and nose. I started to scream and kick everything. My scream was muffled by the rag. Making it impossible for someone to hear. My vision got blurry and my mind went blank. The last thing I saw was men standing over me.

"Take her" One ordered before darkness completely fell over me.

I'm finally getting to some good parts in the story! So I need your help. Who should play Damian? I'm totally lost. Let me know if you have any ideas! The next upload will probably be Sunday night!
