Chapter Two

Harry POV

The wind licked my face as I walked down the long narrow walkway of the house. Turning around to actually get a real look at it, the house was breathtaking. The house was completely made out of stone and tile, a neutral nude and gray color on the outside. There were two levels to the house, the windows peeking inside. The garage that was on the outside looked like it could only hold one car, not my kind of garage right there. The landscape on the outside of the house added just as much character to the house if that was even possible. Still, I wouldn’t be able to stay here. I had to get away. Problem was I didn’t have a car to get out of here.

The thought that I could think up anything I wanted came to my mind. Too bad it didn’t work on wanting to be human again, or dead. Closing my eyes and focusing, I thought up a car that would suit my liking; black, 2 door and sleek; more along the Porsche side of the family of cars. I opened my eyes and there it was, right in the driveway. Walking over to the driver’s side, I began to open the door.

“Seems like you’re getting the hang of things.”

Turning my head, I saw Niall leaning in the doorway of the house, arms crossed over his chest.

“It was only a one time thing,” I said as I began to take a seat in my new car. I sighed. “Get out of my cr Niall.”

“I’m not letting you give up on Andy and on your daughter, Harry.”

Stop calling her that,” I said threw gritted teeth.

“But she is your daughter, Harry. Don’t pull the same mistake that I did with Andy. Plus, Anne is human. She’s not Immortal.”

“What?”

He nodded my head.

“It stunned me too. I don’t know how to explain it but she’s human. She has no powers or immortality like you and me and Andy.”

“I don’t understand how you’re okay that I slept with your daughter.”

He winced at the sound of it.

“That’s beside the point.”

I sighed, bringing the car to life and driving off, seeing as Niall wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

“How did you explain the fact that I had been gone for 3 months,” I questioned, really wanting to find out how he pulled it off.

“It was like you never left.”

“What do you mean?”

He pulled out his phone and started messing with it.

“The lads and I knew what was happening with you. Leave it to Andy to paint a picture in everyone else’s mind that you were on break, visiting friends in LA and Miami. She’s good at that.”

“She expanded her powers?”

“She had no other choice. Nearly killed her but it was her idea. Not mine. I wouldn’t have made her do it. Tried stopping her but she wouldn’t have it.”

Focusing on the road, I thought about it for a moment. Andy really almost lost her life for me? This shows just how much trouble I am. All the more reason to not go through with this.

“You really think that’s what that means?”

“Stop doing that,” I groaned, referring to him reading my mind.

“I honestly can’t control it, mate. Wish I could sometimes. You don’t know all that I hear going through everyone’s mind. Gives me a headache. That’s why I stay inside most days, so I don’t have to hear any of that.”
