Chapter Eleven
Lilly POV
“What the fuck Jillian,” I yelled at my sister, not knowing why she would bring her back into the picture.
“Just listen to her, Lillianna. She knows what she’s doing. We need her.”
“Need her for what? She tried killing me, remember? I killed her for a reason. She’s meant to be dead. Whatever plan you have in your mind, get rid of it,” I said sternly, walking right passed her to the front door. “And if I ever see you around again, I won’t hesitate to kill you again.”
Malory just nodded her head, fear apparent in her eyes. I looked back at Jillian one more time before walking out the door, not really knowing where I was going. My mind kept going back to Niall and how we’re supposed to be together. That just didn’t make sense. I knew you had to have some sort of balance in the world. Ever since the vampires came, witches have been trying their hardest to keep that balance. Drake was the only that really messed it up, being that he was the very first vampire to have the curse. And then he brought me into it and now look where I am. I couldn’t get Niall out of my mind and now I finally knew why. But I knew that he didn’t want to be with me even though he basically has no control over it. Either way I look at it, we’re both losing because I want him but he doesn’t want me.
I knew I had to think up a plan on how to keep both Harry and Andy safe from the council, but they didn’t even know that I was alive yet. I couldn’t just show up after all the rules I broke without them trying to kill me. They didn’t have any powers once in that building but I wasn’t strong enough to fend for myself. Something has to be done and here I was without an answer as to what.
I had no other plan than to just go to them, and see what would happen. I couldn’t think of anything else. Surely, they knew that something had to have been wrong with me and they should know that I’m not really that way. Surely Cauious knew me better than that. He had to know me better than that. Before I could stop myself, I ran back into the direction of the council, not knowing exactly what I was walking into.
Niall POV
I jolted right up out of my bed, my body covered in sweat and my breath being shallow and caught in my throat. I could feel something was off but at that point, I didn’t know what. All I knew was I had this sort of feeling and that something was going to go horribly wrong. I got upright, my feet hitting the cold wood floor as I tried not to wake up Hanna. I clutched my head, the pain starting to hit me like nothing before. I kept getting images of something, or seeing what someone else was seeing. The person glanced down at the ground for a moment and then I knew who it was, my eyes widening as realization hit me. It was Lilly.
She stopped running wherever she was going, stopping right in front of this huge white marble building. I knew she was in front of the council but what I wanted to know was why and why I could literally see everything she was seeing.
“Lilly, what are you doing here?”
My body stiffened, knowing that voice all too well. It was Cauious.
“Aren’t you supposed to be dead?”
“Well… as you see, I’m not dead.”
The guards then took a fighting stance, as if she was some sort of threat. What the fuck was she doing?
“I am no threat Cauious, I assure you. I came to apologize for my actions.”
