Ha, see what i did there? Anyways, this book is almost over. I know what i want to happen, i just don't know if i should leave you guys hanging at the end or write another book in the series. This has gotten more reads than i ever imagined it to. I honestly just wrote this as a fantasy thing when i got bored at a meeting during my job. Turns out it's actually really good lol. Or you guys think it's really good...? I don't really know haha. But anyways, i can't thank you guys enough for all your support and understanding.

Chapter Twenty-Two

H A R R Y

I paced back and forth in the room that Cauious had supplied me with, running my fingers through my hair out of frustration. I didn’t know what I just agreed to, seeing as we’ve been hunting this bastard for the past… month now. And he basically just told me to be his own personal bodyguard and I just agreed like it was nothing. What exactly was my thought plan? Was I going to turn on him and kill him myself making me in charge of the council? Maybe…that sounded like a good plan. But I had to make Niall believe it. I had to make Lilly believe it.

Did I really want to? Shit, I don’t know. I loved Lilly and I- wait, did I just say I loved her? Did I love her? I mean, recently I’ve been feeling some type of way about her. I couldn’t do that to Niall though, could I? Fuck, no I couldn’t do that to him, I couldn’t do that again to him. The first time seemed much more hazy than now, maybe because I was now Immortal, Vampire? Fuck, this was much tougher than I thought it would fucking be.

The first question I had to ask myself was if Niall knew about this or not. I sure as hell hoped he did and knowing him, he was on his way to rescue me, not knowing exactly what he was getting into. I had to make him believe this if I was actually going to go through with this plan. I am going to kill Cauious. I am going to make this whole thing go away if it was the last thing that I was going to do. Cauious didn’t deserve to walk around living… dying…?

“Fuck,” I exclaimed into the air for what seemed like the thousandth time since arriving in this stupid room. I fisted my hair again, surprised that I wasn’t bald yet.

“Problem?” I turned to the doorway to see Cauious leaning on the frame, all of his bruises and blood gone, obviously he has more than one fucking robe.

“It’s none of your fucking business.” My eyes went to see what he was hiding behind his back. “You must be on drugs if you think I’m going to wear that,” I told him, turning my back to him.

“If you’re part of the council, you must wear these robes.”

“Yeah, you’re on fucking drugs.” I walked over to the bed, laying my body on top of the plush mattress, my hands going straight behind my head to support it. I crossed one leg over the other, my eyes closed sensing that he was still standing there with that stupid robe still behind his back.

      “You will wear the robe.”

“You will die today if you think I’m gonna wear that.” I heard him groan in frustration.
