Chapter Three

Harry POV

Giving that I only had 6 hours to figure out whether I’m going to continue being Immortal or if I’m going to just let my body die out, I decided to take Andy on a proper date, being that she’s now old enough (ha) to be taken out on one, and plus, I owed her one.

“Harry, where are you taking me,” she asked as she was sitting in the front seat of my car.

Without taking my eyes off of the road, I grabbed her hand, bringing it to my lips and placing a small kiss on the top of her hand, smiling as I saw what it did to her, sending chills down her back.

“On a proper date, love,” I said as I made a left, parking us in the parking lot of a small café.

“I’m not dressed for a date,” she said as she blushed, not knowing that I could literally feel how embarrassed she was.

“You look beautiful in anything you wear.”

Getting out of the car, I rushed over to her side, forgetting to tone down my speed since we’re in public. Too late for it now and a good thing that no one saw us. I opened her side of the door, helping her out of the car and lacing our fingers together. This night had to be special being that it might be the last time I touch her, spend time with her and being that it would be her first ever date in history.

As we began to walk to the front entrance of the café, fans gasped at the sight of me, recognizing me easily. Cursing under my breath, I forgot to hide my face somewhat before taking her out. It was a spontaneous gesture but you would think I would’ve remembered to at least wear a hat or something. I knew it wasn’t the first time she encountered a bunch of people surrounding us and taking pictures, being that we had to take her with us through an airport to get to an important meeting, only having it lead to her escaping and being turned into what she is now.

She clung to me, fear overpowering her excitement more than anything. I felt bad for her, being that she was now going to be known around the whole world in a matter of seconds. How was I supposed to explain this?

“We can go home if you want,” I whispered in her ear, stopping in front of the door.

She shook her head, pushing me to open the door and get inside. I obliged, letting her slip in first with me right on her tail. Luckily, they didn’t try to come into the café with us and once we got in there, we could see that there wasn’t many people inside the dark lit place. Going up to the counter, we both ordered what we wanted before taking a seat in the back, away from the windows.

“I’m so sorry about that,” I sighed, looking at her through my hair.

She shook her head.

“It’s okay. It’s good to know that that part of your life hasn’t changed.”

She was right in a sense; to those people, I was still Harry Styles from One Direction. Nothing changed on the outside and nothing really changed on the inside, at least for right now. But something in me felt off, odd in a sense and I knew exactly what it was. When I was human, I was able to hide some of myself from everyone around me. But now that I’m Immortal, everything is heightened and enhanced that I didn’t know how long I would be able to hide it.

Once our food was ordered and brought to us, we could learn about each other in peace.

“It’s funny,” Andy said as she picked at her sandwich.

“What is,” I asked, pushing my hair out of my face to look at her clearly. The freckles on her face I knew she got from Lilly, as much as no one wanted to admit it. Her bright blue eyes, something she got from Niall, bore right into my green ones. Her lips were nice and red, my eyes not being able to stay away from them. I licked my lips at the thought of them being right on mine, catching myself and fearing that she knew what I was thinking. Her fiery red hair was out of her face but adding brightness and detail to it. She was absolutely stunning and knowing that she was all mine made me not want to leave her alone here without me. She was the one that kept me here.
