Jon got off the phone and sat next to Jennifer and kissed her on the cheek.

"Who was that, Jonny?" Jennifer curled up next to her fiancé.

"It was my buddy Roger. He said he saw the girls with my car."

Everyone heard the sound of the car coming into the driveway.

"Is that them?" Cristal walked over to open the door.

Jasmine and Kaylee walked in and saw their father looking more angry than ever.

Jon stood up and walked over to them, "How dare you take my car without asking! Where on earth did you even go?"

"None of your business." Jasmine ran upstairs and started crying again.
Jon tried to run after her.

"Dad!" Kaylee stopped him, "Stop.."

"I was talking to her and she blew me off!" 

"Jon.. They just went out to explore.. Calm down." Jennifer grabbed his hand.

Jon had barley even noticed that Jen and the girls had been watching and sighed, "Kaylee.. just go to your room." 

Kaylee gladly ran up to the loft and locked the door behind her.

Jasmine looked up at Kaylee in tears, "I don't want to live in this world anymore, Kay."

"Don't you dare start your suicide thoughts again!" Kaylee scolded her.

"I.. I can't do this! Those two innocent girls downstairs? They're gonna have the same fate that we have. And Jennifer? Maybe dad will kill her like he did to mom! I'm pretty sure Dad killed Cody too! Don't you get it? We're all alone, Kaylee!"

"Exactly! Don't leave me all by myself, Jazz. Were in this together, remember?" Kaylee embraced her.

"Yeah I guess.."

"Promise me that no matter what, we're in this together."

"Promise."

✽Elena's POV✽

Unicorns.. lots of them. Heck, I was even a unicorn.. I was galloping across candy land, the licorice vines smacking my face, the lollipop trees singing Christmas carols. 
I started eating an endless bowl of ice cream, I felt so alive.

"ELENA! WAKE UP!" Cristal slashed a pillow at my face.

"Woah, I just had the awesomest dream ever." I rubbed my eyes.

"You were whispering 'I have too much swag for you' in your sleep, you okay there?" Cristal looked at me funny. 

"I'm fine, thank you for your concern." I said sarcastically.

I ran down the stairs all dressed up for school and got the cereal box out. 

"Are you fo real? CRISTAL YOU FINISHED ALL THE FROOT LOOPS, YOU BITCH." 

"Oh, yeah sorry. I was kinda hungry. Just eat some cheerios, sheesh." She burped.

"You're disgusting," I rolled my eyes. Kaylee came downstairs dressed in one of my favorite outfits.

"See, I told you it would fit!" I smiled at her, "You want some cheerios?" 

"Sure," She looked upset but she quickly faked a smile when she realized I was staring at her.

"Where's Jasmine?" Cristal scratched her head. 

"She's not coming.. She's sick." Kaylee looked at the floor.

"Oh, she is? I'll go check on her." My mom popped her head into the kitchen.

"No, no. It's okay. She's fine. She just wants to sleep." Kaylee pulled her hair out of her face. 

"Oh, alright. But just for today." My mom smiled while sipping her coffee.

"So, Kaylee.. are you ready for your first day of school?" I asked.

"Well.. I.. Um.. I grew up in this area.. so I'm hoping to see old friends." She half smiled at me.

"You did? I guess Jon forgot to mention a few details, mom." Cristal whispered loud enough for all of us to hear. 

 "Oh, shush it, you!" Mom laughed, "Now get in the car, you're going to be late!"
