Jon flung himself out of the house and made his way over to the Harris residence. He was dying of desperation to win over Kaylee. She wasn't going to budge anytime soon. Once he saw the house, he went into a speed walk. He pushed the doorbell and Tom opened up.

"Mr. Robinson, what brings you here?" Tom greeted him.

"Is your brother home?" Jon asked calmly.

"I am. Can I help you, sir?" Logan angrily came out of the kitchen. He had no idea why Jon would dare step into his home. Tom noticed the tension and quietly sneaked out.

"I need to ask you for a favor."

"What kind of favor?" Whatever it was, Logan didn't want to help.

"Kaylee is really depressed over her sister. They've never been separated for so long and I think she finally came to realization that she will probably never see her again.." Jon started to explain.

"What exactly are you asking for?" Logan wanted to get right to the point.

"You and I both know that you visit Jasmine very often. You know where shes hiding. Tell me so I can reunite the twins."

"Why would I do that? So she can suffer all over again?" Logan hissed.

"Trust me, I'm a changed man. Kaylee doesn't believe me but I'm truly trying to be sincere." Jon spoke softly.

"You hurt them repeatedly for so many years. What makes you think that she wants to come home?" Logan lashed out.

"Its not about what she wants! Shes a 16 year old girl living on the streets. She should be sleeping on a bed at home and attending school. If you cared about her, you'd see that." Jon let a little bit of his temper slip.

"I do see that.." Logan loosened up a bit.

"Then bring her home, Logan. Do us all a favor and bring Jazz home."

"Let me sleep on the idea and I'll get back to you on that." Logan started to close the door on him.

"Deal." Jon half smiled and then frowned, pushing the door back open. "Where is your mother? I haven't seen her once ever since we moved back here."

"Shes an air force pilot. She got deported a few months before you got here. She should be back in a few weeks though." Logan explained, trying to soothe the awkwardness.  "Anyways, you should probably get going since your such a busy man."

"Your right. I'll be on my way then." Jon stopped forcing the door open and left.

Not too long after Jon left, Kaylee came knocking on the door. Logan let her in and informed her that Tom was in his room.

"Hey." Kaylee approached Tom.

"Hi." Tom casually said.

"Are you okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" He wouldnt look at her.

"Well you sort of seem mad at me."

"Oh." He turned the page of his book.

"So are you?" Kaylee was getting impatient.

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Look, I've got my hands full with studying for these big chemistry tests coming up and I've been working late hours for the past week so I would appreciate it if you'd leave me to it." Tom finally looked up at her.

"Wait a minute.. you got a job?" Kaylee smiled.

"Yeah at the pizza parlor."

"Let me guess, delivery boy?" She knew him too well.

"Yup."

"Aw." She thought it was cute that hes got his first job.

"Kaylee! Please stop distracting me and.. just go." He got up and opened the door for her.

Kaylee couldn't help but feel a little hurt. She nodded and exited the room with the door slamming behind her.

"Wow! Mister rainbows and sunshine kicked you out of his room?" Logan said loud enough for Tom to hear from behind the door. Kaylee got a little offended and started to walk out the front door. "I was only teasing. Whatever it is you did to upset him, he will get over it."

Kaylee certainly hoped that he'd get over it and that sooner than later, this would all blow over. Her literal other half was nowhere to be seen, Elena broke up with Peter over the kissing thing and continued avoiding her, and Tom refused to talk to her. She felt so alone.
