As soon as they arrived at the hospital, Mikaylee didnt wait a single second to see her sister. She demanded that the nurse take her now. They hurried down the hallway before arriving to their destination. Mikaylee stood by Jasmine as she slept and held her hand. She cried softly, stroking her hair. Jennifer and the girls quietly walked in and hugged Mikaylee.

"Kaylee..Its not your fault, you know. She chose to ditch school and go out." Cristal didnt make Mikaylee feel any better.

"I let her do it. I covered for her. I should've put my foot down!" She was frusturated with herself.

The four of them sat in the waiting room for two hours waiting for her to wake. Jon arrived and greeted them.

"Sorry I couldnt have gotten here earlier. My boss wouldn't let me go." He kissed Jen.

"No worries."

"Kaylee? How you holding up, doll?" He forcfully hugged her.

"I'd rather be alone right now." She rejected the hug.

Jon sqeeuzed her shoulder that was now dislocated. She held in her whimper. She knew he wanted her to fake the loving family thing but she just couldnt. Not now, she was angry with him for hospitalizing her sister. But when he patted her bruised up back and squeezed her dislocated shoulder even harder then the first time, she couldn't hold in her cries.

"Oh daddy! She looked so fragile like a glass doll. One more bruise and she'd shatter to peices." She gave into the forced hug as hot tears streamed down her face.

"She's going to be fine, sweetie. She's a strong girl, she can get through this." He pressed his lips to her forehead. He wrapped his arms around his daughter as she awkwardly cried into his shoulder.

"Excuse me," Kaylee sniffled, "I gotta use the restroom." He released her from his grasp and she walked down the hallway.

"Jon," Jennifer put her hand on his shoulder, half smiling. "You're such a great father. I wasnt so sure if I was ready to trust somebody to help me raise my girls but now I know. Now I’m sure. My girls need a father like you."

"And mine need a mother like you." Jon intertwined his fingers with hers and kissed her on the cheek.

"I'm ready to get married if you are. I love you so much, I dont think I can wait any longer." Her blue eyes blinked in unison with his. They both sat down hand in hand continuing to wait for Jasmine to wake.

The nurse walked over to inform everybody that Jasmine was awake. Mikaylee jumped up from her seat and rushed to her sisters side.

"Did he do this to you?" Mikaylee didn't hesitate to ask.

"Kaylee.." She didn't want to talk about it.

"He did! What did he do, hit you with a bat?"

"Kaylee! Stop." Jasmine looked up at her father standing by the door. Jon closed the door behind him and smirked.

"This right here, my dear, was your punishment. Hope you learned your lesson." He walked closer, "Kaylee was going to get her punishment too but she just did me the biggest favor ever."

"What do you mean?"

"Jennifer told me she's sure about me and that she's ready to marry me.. all because of our acting back there. You're off the hook, this time." He felt amused as the girls faces grew with anger.

"The wedding is in three months. Don't mess this up or next time it will be so bad that the doctors won't be able to save you." He smirked.
