"You have really kissable lips, mhm," he said through the webcam.
He took a drink of his beer, no doubt he'd had many, thanks to the glean in his eyes.
I just didn't notice it then.
I pursed my lips, biting down to hide them from his view.
At this point I'd told him I only wanted to be friends.
"Noted," I said sarcastically.
"Noted," he said back with a smile.

I found out later he'd battled with a drinking problem. Drugs, too. I'd spent the night angrily going through his facebook page. There was so much I didn't know about him. Then again, two dates isn't enough time to ask.
