The next two weeks fly by, and once we get our heads straight, the plans for re-building Danceworks start.
If you're wondering what happened to Diana, her case is pretty simple. They were questioned by the police, along with their parents, and this is what they said:
Ever since she got kicked out of her dance group in Danceworks, she's been pretty angry. Her and her brother Max were expelled from their school, due to their appalling grades-can't say I'm very suprised-and were being home-schooled.
But it's not just setting Danceworks on fire that's been their only crime. Ever since they got expelled, they've been doing all sorts of things. Ditching their classes at home, going out and stealing stuff, pulling pranks on their worst enemies.
They'd got a gun from a drawer in their attic at their house. The police questioned why they kept guns in their houses...and the parents were not too sure themselves.
Apparently...their intention really wasn't to set Danceworks on fire.
They were sneaking around the building, hoping to find some more stuff to steal, when they spotted Mitch at the main computer upstairs.
They thought it would be a funny idea to turn the power up, only intending to blow the fuse in the computer, causing it to 'stop working'.
When the computer exploded and Mitch got an electrical shock, the fire started. By this time, they were out of sight.
So...they just thought they could blow a fuse, without expecting everything to burst into flames?
I've never heard of anything more stupid...
Well, Kim hasn't been taking this really well. Especially as it was her boyfriend who nearly got killed. She said she had no idea that they got expelled from school, or that they were committing crimes.
It was pretty sad, but Diana and Max ended up in Juvenile in Manchester. I don't even know how long their staying there for, but their parents are really upset about it.
Freddie hasn't called me back ever since that night, but I'm sure I've given up on him by now.
It's about eleven o'clock in the morning, and construction work on the new Danceworks starts today, and A LOT of money has gone into it.
I really want to go, but Pel and I find ourselves having yet another argument about whether I should stay at home or not.
He's being really overprotective, and it's really starting to get on my nerves...
"Pel..." I whine, following him down the stairs. "Why can't I be involved? I'm the one that sat through that long court case with Kim's aunt and uncle..."
"You only did that because you were the one that nearly got shot..." Pel sighs, getting his car keys. "And of course you didn't think you needed to tell me that either..."
I roll my eyes.
"It's a construction site..." I say slowly. "What's the worst that could happen?"
"Amber...a lot could happen..."
"Like what?..."
Pel shrugs.
"I don't know Amber, but really, after what's happened, I'm not letting you out of my sight..."
"You are!"
"No, I'm leaving you with Natalie..."
"Stop acting like I'm helpless, because I'm not!"
"I didn't say you were..." Pel says.
"You're really acting like it..." I say.
Perri sighs.
