Jo?

The girl that Perri nearly left me for the last time I came to New York. That was horrible- Ashley sent me home in floods of tears but then Perri came back and I stayed at his house so we had some time to re-new ourselves.

"What are you doing here?" I say to her.

"None of your business...." She says.

"Why don't you just leave me alone!" I say, taking hold of Reid's stroller.

"Because...." She says. "I can't stop thinking about him...."

About him? About who?

"Your beloved Perri." She says. "The only reason I gave up on him was because I was afraid. Afraid that our love for each other would get him out of Diversity..." She says.

She makes me feel sick.

Wasn't this like two years ago?

"Amber- Perri still had feelings for me...." She says.

"Listen!" I shout. "This baby.....it's ours. We are that in love. He has no feeling for you- none! You're mad. You're in love with someone who has a child with me..."

I seriously don't have time for this.

Kim comes up behind me. She recognises Jo as well.

"Let's go...." She whispers.

She grabs me by the arm, leading me away from her.

"Amber!" Jo keeps screaming. "You can't run away! They'll find you! They'll find you and they'll steal him just like they did to Ruby!"

My heart beats rapidly but Kim forces me to walk away from her.

"She doesn't know anything...." Kim whispers. "Don't listen to her..."

"Come back here or I'll tell them! I'll tell them you're here!" Jo shouts.

"Walk away!" Kim says, hitting me lightly on the back. "Just walk away!"

"Kim...." I say, with tears in my eyes. "What if she knows something? What if she really knows?"

"How would she know anything?" Kim shouts. "Amber- you must not talk to anyone except me on this trip, you hear me?"

I nod but I'm still curious.

We walk briskly to immigration, then baggage claim. Soon, we've got all our stuff. I can't just stand here. What if Jo knows something?

I turn around and I see Jo walking into the bathroom. She gestures at me to come in with her.

"Kim..." I say. "I need to go to the bathroom. Take Reid...."

"Okay- our taxi is waiting for us...so be quick." She says.

"I will..."

I kiss Reid on the cheek who smiles back at me, slowly closing his eyes.

"Go on..." Kim scowls. "Hurry!"

I walk briskly to the bathroom where Jo is who sees me and pulls me towards her.

"Ruby is here...." She whispers.

"How do you know?" I whisper back. "Why do you care?"

"Because I've been in touch with Lenny. The criminal. One of the plenty people who are out to get you...." She murmurs.

"Where is she?" I say.

"Well...." She sighs. "To find out you're going to have to come with me. We're making an exchange..."
