I don't know why I slammed the door so hard. Or why I'm suddenly finding I hard to breathe. I why I'm feeling dizzy or feeling like I might just throw up, right here, right now.

"Come on...." Riley says, pulling my hand.

"I don't want to go back.." I say, tears in my eyes. "To Ashley or to Kim or Mitch.."

"Then come to mine..." He sighs.

I slip out of the hotel still in tears and we hail another taxi arriving back at my hotel.

"Wait a second.." I say. "I'll give Reid to Kim.."

Riley gives me his room number and I go to where Kim, Mitch and Ash are still talking.

"Ambs!" Mitch exclaims. "Where have you been?"

"Nowhere.." I merely whisper, giving Reid to Kim.

"Is everything okay with Pel?" Asks Ash.

"Yeah..." I sigh.

"You sure?" Kim asks.

"Yes!" I say, raising my voice suddenly. "Just take care of him, will you? I need a break.."

"Okay...." Kim sighs.

I run out of the hotel room and stop at Riley's door. I keep having to remind myself why I'm here. Maybe to just say thank you.

I ring the doorbell and he opens it.

"Hey..." I say, drying my tears from earlier.

He invites me in and I sit down.

"What happened there?" He says, offering me a drink but I refuse.

"I don't know..." I say. "He was angry. I was angry..."

My voice starts to choke up.

"I just can't believe he almost hit me.." I say.

"I don't think he would've." Riley smiles.

"What should I do?" I say.

"Apologise first? No way. It really isn't your fault." He says.

"Thanks for your help.." I say, standing up. "I've got to go."

I stand up and start walking towards the door but he pulls my hand.

"Umm...Amber?" He asks.

"Yeah?" I say, slightly frustrated.

"He's beautiful, Reid.."

"Thank you.." I say.

"Just like you."

My heart starts beating a little faster.

I'm just going to be straight up here.

"Riley, do you like me?" I ask.

He nods.

"I don't feel that way." I say " I have a boyfriend."

"Oh really.." He says. "One that leaves you crying at midnight by the pool? Steals your baby? Sends you to America for no good reason? Tried to physically assault you-"

"You don't know anything about me!" I scream. "Nothing! You don't know anything about us.."

"I know a lot more than you think.." He rants on. "I dated Lucy, you know?"

I just roll my eyes.

"Nobody understands..." I say.

He pulls me in close.
