Ship of love chapter 21

Arya's POV

I woke up in the emergency room and tried to sit up, but i felt some pain around my ribs and layed back down. That's when I remembered what that dick Alex did to me. I moved the blanket off of me and seen my thigh bandaged, I moved it and sighed in relief that it wasn't badly hurt. I did feel some pain but it would heal quickly, at least I hoped it would. I heard the hospital room door open and thought it was the doctor. " so doctor, when can I go home?" I asked
"Hopefully soon" said a voice that wasn't the doctors. I turned knowing whose voice it was just by the chills running down my back. I looked at Jason and just started crying. He ran over to me and pulled me towards him and hugged me so hard that my ribs started hurting me, but I didn't say anything because I wanted to stay like this for a while.
"Shh it's ok Arya" he said rubbing my back. I continued crying.
"Where were you Jason? Where were you when I needed you?" I asked him. I know it wasn't fair to blame him but I needed to vent my frustration on someone and he was available.
"I'm sorry Arya, I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you and our boys. Can you please forgive me?" he said in a hoarse voice.
I pulled away from him and just looked into his beautiful hazel eyes. What I seen in them was remorse, regret, guilt and love. I pulled his face towards mine and kissed him. He kissed back with so much passion, our tongues fought each others for dominance but he won in the end. He squeezed my waist and I let out a whimper from the pain. He pulled back and said " I'm so sorry babe"
I shook my head at him and smiled " it's ok Jason" I told him as I layed back down. He pulled up a chair by the bed and sat down, he took my hand into his and kissed it.
"I'm so happy you're ok Arya. I don't know what I would have done if I lost you again" said Jason
"I'm happy to be ok too. Did they arrest Alex?" I asked him.
Jason gritted his teeth and nodded his head. " Yes, the bastard was caught, but I didn't get to see him because they took him away before I got to the hospital. If I had seen him, I would have killed him Arya for hurting you" he said with venom in his voice. I grabbed his other hand and that's when I seen it bandaged.
"What happened to your hand?" I asked him
"I punched the wall when I found out what that Alex guy did to you" he said.
I shook my head at him and said "Idiot"
"What?"
"You heard me Jason, you're an idiot"
"Pray tell why am I an idiot Arya?" he asked me
"Why would you punch the wall? Why do guys always punch walls when they get angry? That's just stupid! I mean it's not like the wall is going to feel your pain. Right? You just end up hurting yourselves" I told him
"Arya when a guy is pissed off we hit the closest thing to us and the closest thing to me was a wall. So I'm sorry if I wasn't thinking rationally when I heard what happened to you" he said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice.
I just rolled my eyes at him and said " Did you see the twins?" I asked him
"Yeah, they're in daycare"
"Are they ok?" I asked him my voice a bit wobbly.
"Yes they're fine babe. Don't worry, when I went in there they were playing and laughing" he told me with a smile
"I was so scared for them Jason" I whispered
"What did he do to you Arya?" he asked me.
I sighed and told him the whole story from when Alex started asking me out until the very end which was what happened today. He got up from his chair and threw it across the room from how pissed he was. " The asshole was going to hurt my sons! He was going to hurt them with a fucking knife?" he yelled. He grabbed the plastic pitcher of water and threw it against the door.
"Jason calm down!" I yelled. He turned to me with rage in his eyes
"How the fuck do you expect me to calm down when I just found out that prick wanted to kill my sons?" he yelled at me.
"You mean our sons Jason, and they're safe now. Nothing happened to them thank god. I stopped him Jason, I stopped him from hurting Jackson and Avery. That's the important thing here, and you know what?" I asked him. He shook his head no
"I would do it all over again Jason. I would risk my own life for theirs anytime"
"Their won't be a next time Arya because I'm never letting you guys leave my sight ever again"
"You're Going overboard there buddy. I mean you can't be with us 24 hrs a day Jason "
"You wanna bet?" he asked me with a serious face.
"Jason.." he cut me off
"Arya please don't argue with me about this, not now at least"
I just nodded my head. What he said next took me by surprise.
