Ship of love chapter 29

Arya's POV

"Believe it or not Arya some girls actually did do that. One time we were at a club and this girl noticed him from across the room and she literally ran across the room just to get to him before any other girl could, and when she reached him she tripped over her own two feet and fell on his. Do you want to know what she told him while she was down there?" asked Carmen

"You want to have a little fun sexy?" I asked with a shrug. She shook her head and said

"No, she said take me master I am yours to do as you wish. That one was a real weirdo"she said shaking her head.

"Oh my god! What did Jason do?" I asked. They both looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.

"What do you think he did?" asked Tamera

"I hope he turned her down after seeing her like that"

"I'm sorry to tell you this Arya but no he didn't. The idiot actually took her home that night" said Tamera shaking her head.

"He really is an idiot" I told them.

They both nodded their heads. "Jason is a Smart, brilliant, and handsome man Arya but when it comes to women, he has no luck with them. That's until you came along, you seem like a nice and normal girl and were happy he found you." said Carmen

"Yes! And theses boys of yours are just so adorable!" said Tamera. She threw him up in the air and caught him once he came back down. I was a bit scared she might drop him but, after hearing his giggles I relaxed and just trusted her.

I looked around and seen Jason and his father lighting the grill, Mark and Mike were taking the table and chairs out of the shed and Grace was inside the kitchen.

"Would you ladies like to come inside and help?" I asked them

"Of course we'd like to help! I made some tri colored pasta with potato salad on the side. Tamera baked us some double chocolate fudge cake"

"That's my favorite kind of cake ever!" I said excitedly.

We all walked inside the house and towards the kitchen were Grace was. I took my boys from them and thanked them, I put them in their playpen and went back to help them. We took out the steaks and gave them to Mark, then we made some salad and Carmen made some fresh rolls and Grace cut up some fresh fruits and made a fruit salad. We all enjoyed each others company and laughed about anything and everything.

An hour later the twins started crying and I knew they were Hungary, I fed them some yoghurt and then gave them their bottles and left them to sleep in the playpen. I turned on the baby monitor and took the other one with me outside so I can hear them. The table was set with plates, cups and silver wear. We all sat down and started eating.

A few hours later we were all in the living room having coffee and eating cake. Each couple was sitting next to each other having their own little conversation. Jason put his arm around me and kissed the side of my head.

"I love you Arya" I turned to him and said

"I love you too Jason!"

"Do you know how much I missed you today?"

"I was with you all day Jason, how could you have missed me?" I asked confused

"You were with me physically but emotionally you weren't. I had to share you today with my family but tonight you're all mine."

"Jason not tonight please, I'm too tired!"

"I know babe but all I want to do is just hold you and talk" he said

My heart just melted at those words he told me. It's true they weren't cheesy pick up lines some men use to flirt with women, but that sentence he just told me is worth more than any cheesy line ever and I loved him even more for that.

Jason's POV

A month has passed since the barbecue, Arya and the girls have gotten closer and they hang out at least three times a week and her best friend Emily came back from her vacation finally and she got engaged to her boyfriend Toby. Both Arya and Emily hang out almost everyday and Emily has also gotten close to Carmen and Tamera.
My phone rang, I answered it without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"I answered

"Hey baby! Did you miss me?"

I stopped working and sat up straight in my chair, because I knew this was a conversation I wasn't going to enjoy at all.

"What the hell do you want Jessica?" I yelled through the phone.

"Baby, you know what I want. I want you back with me and start our own little family."

"Don't you have a boyfriend and a child already Jessica? There goes your family right there"

"No Jason I don't have a family. Mason left me after I had a miscarriage and all I want now is to start a family with you my love" she said

"I'm sorry for your loss Jessica but I'm not in love with you and I already have my family. I love Arya and my boys and I'll never ever leave them for anybody, especially for someone like you"

"What if something happened to your precious Arya and sons?" she spat "what would you then Jason? Do you think you can come back to me then?" she said maliciously.

My heart started beating faster because she sounds a bit crazy right now and I'm afraid she might do something to harm Arya.

"What are you talking about Jessica?"

"Oh I'm sorry to tell you this Jason but I'm driving behind Arya right now and it looks like she might have an accident. Don't worry Jason I'll comfort you" she laughed.

"Jessica! You better not hurt or I swear to god I will..."

She cut me off with a laugh and said " Goodbye Arya it was not nice knowing you and your boys"

I heard a crash and the phone went dead.
