Jason's POV
It has been a hour since Arya has been gone and I was starting to get a bit worried. I called her cell but I heard it ringing upstairs which meant she forgot it. I was about to go back outside when Mark came running in from the living room.
"Jason you have to come see this now!" yelled Mark
"What's wrong?" I asked as I walked towards the living room.
I seen the whole group watching the news, and they all were upset. I seen a middle aged male reporter with brown hair and brown eyes standing in front of the bakery that Arya was supposed to be at.
"I'm standing in front of May's Bakery where there is a psycho woman inside holding another
Customer hostage. We heard a gun shot being fired and don't know if there are injuries as of now. There are cops and swat team surrounding the bakery trying to get a clear shot of the deranged woman inside." said the reporter.
"Oh my god! Arya is inside with Jackson." I yelled. My heart started beating erratically from how scared I was especially since a shot was fired. I was about to grab my keys and drive towards the bakery when the reporter said.
"We have news that a woman escaped with a baby boy and she's about to give us a statement."
I was relieved and let out a sigh thinking it was Arya and Jackson, but that wasn't who showed up on the screen. It was the Baker Ms. May who appeared holding my sleeping child in her arms.
"Where the hell is Arya?" I asked. My friends just sat there crying and praying that everything will be alright. The male reporter then asked Ms. May
"How did you escape the Bakery Ms.May?"
"I snuck out the back while that woman wasn't paying attention."
"Do you know who the woman with the gun is?"
"That is no woman in there, that is a crazy lady I tell you. Crazy! I don't know who she is but I know her name is Jessica."
"We heard there is another woman in there with her. Is she alright and why didn't she escape with you?"
"Yes, the other woman's name is Arya and she is this little boys mother in there and she made sure we got out first. When she tried to escape that crazy lady fired her gun stopping her from escaping."
Just then another shot was heard being fired from inside. I didn't hear what the reporter said as I ran outside of my house and into my car with Mark and Mike beside me. I sped out of the driveway.
"Jason you have to calm down man before you get into an accident." said Mark
"How the fuck do you expect me to calm down when Arya is with that bitch Jessica and a shot was fired from inside" I yelled as I punched the steering wheel out of anger.
My friends stayed quiet after that not knowing what to say. I stopped a block away from the Bakery since they closed the whole street. We got out and ran towards Arya but the police stopped me from going any closer.
"I'm sorry but you can't go any closer." said the cop
"That's my girlfriend in there and my son is with May the baker." I said
Just then I looked behind the officer and seen two stretchers being taken out of the bakery and one of them had a sheet pulled over their face. I fell on my knees and started crying.
Why oh why I told myself.
