Arya's POV
"We found Jessica's car Ms. Anderson"
"Did you arrest that crazy bitch?" I asked
"No, M'am we didn't, we didn't find her in the car. The car was empty."
"Can't you take her license plate number and find out where she lives? I asked
"We did that already and the car was a rental. We're sorry Ms. Anderson, but we'll keep looking and when we do find her or have any more leads we'll let you know." he said
"Ok, Thank you Officer Ron." I said.
"Wow, Officer Ron. What no Ron,Ronny,Assface or rent a cop? I think you're starting to like me Arya." he said.
I could just hear the smile in his words. I smiled into the phone and said.
"I guess you're not that bad after all. You are kinda growing on me, so I figured let me stop being a bitch to you and start being a bit nicer. You are after all helping me."
"That's great to hear Ms. Anderson because I kinda like you too. Goodbye for now." he said before hanging up.
I went back into the living room and had 3 pairs of eyes staring back at me.
"Who was that?" Asked Emily.
"It was Officer Ron."
"Did they find Jessica?" Asked Tamera
"No, they found her car but she wasn't in it. They don't know where she is yet." I answered as I sat back down.
"Don't worry about it Arya, I'm sure she'll be caught and get thrown in jail." said Carmen patting my arm.
I gave them all a grateful smile.
"I'm starving! What's for lunch?" asked Emily.
"How about we make sandwiches for lunch and we'll make some Baked chicken, rice and beans, and salad on the side for dinner. Each one call up their boyfriend/husband and invite them over.
What do you girls say?" I asked
"That sounds great!!" They all said together.
A week later.
I couldn't believe how fast the week went I thought to myself. Today was the twins birthday party, they turned a year today. I couldn't believe how fast they were growing up, it was as if they were born yesterday. I shook my head and held my tears in. I wasn't about to cry on their birthday.
"Stop it Arya, they're turning one not graduating high school and leaving off to college" I said to myself.
I grabbed the extra balloons and streamers and went outside with the others.
Mark,Mike,and Toby(Emily's Fiancé ) were setting up the tables and chairs for the guests.
Tamera,Carmen, and Emily were putting up the streamers and blowing balloons. Well right now they were blowing the balloons and letting the air out into each others faces and laughing. They were acting like 8 year olds, so I did what any adult person would do. I joined in on the fun.
I blew up a balloon and let out the air in Carmen's face.
"Eww Arya! You got spit on my face now" she shrieked
"You looked a bit hot, so me being a good friend I decided to cool you off a bit." I told her with a laugh.
"That's not funny" she said with a pout.
"Oh is my poor Carmen upset? Come here and let Auntie Arya give you a hug and a kiss" I said walking towards her with my arms open.
She laughed and opened her arms and hugged me. We heard a whistle and turned to see who it was. Care to guess who it was?
Yes none other then the clown of the group. Mikey!
"Yes, I have been waiting for a while to see some girl on girl action." he yelled
"You're such a pervert Mike!" yelled Carmen.
"Ow! What the hell was that for Mark?" asked Mike rubbing his arm where Mark punched him.
"For making a stupid comment like that about my wife" he said
"Oh please, as if you weren't thinking it. I was just brave enough to say it out loud" he said.
"Mike, you're ass is grass tonight. You better not think you're sleeping in the same bed as me" said Tamera in a threatening tone.
"But Tamera, it was just a joke babe. I'm sorry! Please give me one more chance." he said in a whiny voice.
"If you're good for the rest of the day I'll let it go" she said
"Yesssss!" he said as he ran towards his wife and lifted her off the ground and twirled her around.
Tamera started laughing and then kissed him as he set her down on her feet.
They were so cute together.
I went inside to see if Jason finished bathing and dressing the twins. I went upstairs and heard one of the twins yelling "No, no daddy" and it was Jackson.
"Come on buddy, you have to get dressed for your party today" said Jason as he tried to put on his shirt. Avery was just sitting there dressed and watching the show and laughing.
I smiled at the scene in front of me.
"What's wrong with my handsome boy?" I asked
"He won't let me put his shirt on" said Jason with a sigh.
"I was talking about Jackson"
"Oh, so I'm not you're handsome boy anymore?" he asked
"You never were Jason" I told him with a straight face.
