Ship of love chapter 16

Arya's POV

After feeding Avery I took him inside his room and put him inside of his crib. I stood there for a few minutes until my heart rate went back to normal. I was shocked when Jason asked me if we can become a couple again but I didn't let it show. When he seen Avery and really looked at him, he finally realized these boys were his. When He started crying and gave his little speech I started crying because it was an emotional scene between father and son. I love Jason but I didn't want to forgive him so easily. I wanted him to suffer a bit, but in the end I'll go back to him and try to make it work for myself and the boys. I took a deep breath and went back out into the living room.
Jason was now standing on the balcony. I went out to him and asked
"Would you like to stay for dinner Jason?" he turned to me with a big heartbreaking smile and said " I would love that"
"Ok buddy just don't get too excited, you're still in the dog house. I only asked because you probably didn't eat anything after getting off of the plane and it's almost dinner time."
His smile fell a bit not expecting a come back like that. I smiled to myself and turned to go to into the kitchen. I took the steak out of the fridge after putting it in there to marinate over night.
I took out a pan and put oil in it and let it heat a bit before putting the steaks. I put a pot of water on the stove, then I took out the salad stuff out of the fridge and put them on the counter in front of jason after washing them.
"Here you can make the salad instead of just sitting there like your the queen of England"
I told him as I put the cutting board and knife in front of him. He just raised his eyebrow at me and said "Are you serious?"
"As a heart attack" I said with a serious face. he picked up the knife and started cutting.
An hour later we had the table set with steak,pasta salad,bread, and American salad.
We sat down and served ourselves. "How did you find me?" I asked him
"It wasn't hard Arya, I have a few friends that live here and they owe me a few favors. I asked them to find an Arya Anderson and find out where she lives."
"When are you going back to Florida?" I asked him.
"Why? Trying to get rid of me already babe"
"No I just want to know How long you're going to be here so I can arrange a day for you to take the twins and spend the day with them" I said
"oh don't worry about that, I'm not going back to Florida"
I started choking on a piece of bread. I picked up my iced tea and drank from it. Jason got up and started hitting my back. I stopped coughing and said "thank you". He sat back down.
"What do you mean you're not going back to Florida?, what about your job and family?" I asked.
" I have another company down here that I'm going to be working from and my family have already been informed. They're very supportive of my plans."
"what did you tell them?" I asked
"Tell them about what? He asked
"About why you decided to move down here all of a sudden"
"I told them I'm coming down here so I can run the company from here and make a few changes"
"They don't know about the boys?" I asked
"No they don't, I didn't even know about the boys until today." he said
"Please Jason don't try to bullshit your way out of this and try to make me the bad one when we both know I told you from the beginning I was pregnant. It was your own fault you didn't choose to believe the truth"
"I tried calling you a few times but you never answered"
"Ok you called. But why did you call? What did you want?"I asked getting pissed
"I wanted to know if you really were pregnant and if you needed anything" he said
"So do you believe you're a father now?" i asked
"I started to believe maybe you were telling the truth after I remembered that we didn't use protection in the pool" he said
"what's done is done but I don't regret that moment because that moment is what brought me my two angels and I wouldn't change that for anything in this world. "
"I agree, after holding Avery I decided that both him and Jackson are a blessing to have and I'm not going to miss another moment of their lives" I just nodded my head. One of the twins started crying, I got up to go to them but Jason said
"Please can I go get him?" I nodded my head ok. He went to get him and I started clearing the table. He came back out a minute later with Jackson. He sat down with him and started playing with him.

I'm sorry this chapter was a little boring but hopefully the next one will be better.
