Ship of love chapter 39

Arya's POV

I woke up to the sound of hushed voices talking beside my bed. I turned my head and seen my three friends Emily,Carmen, and Tamara. They were all sitting on chairs and they looked worried.

"You know worry lines makes you look older ladies. I suggest you stop with all the frowning because you ladies already look older then my mother and that's not a good thing at all." I said jokingly.

They all swiveled their heads towards me so fast that I got whiplash from it. They all got up at once and rushed towards me talking at once.

"Arya are you ok?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Would you like some water sweetie?"

I laughed at them and answered each of their questions. "Yes, Emily I'm ok. Do u know why?"

"Is it because you're surrounded by the people you love?" she asked smiling.

I gave her a smile and shook my head. "No, it's because I'm alive and I couldn't be happier."

"I'm feeling a bit sore right now Tamara but other then that I'm good."

"I'm so happy to hear that. Would you like me to get the doctor so he can give you something stronger.?" she asked.

"Not right now, but thanks."

"Yes, Carmen can you please get me some water because my throat is a bit dry right now."

Carmen poured me a cup and helped me drink from it since I was too sore to move my arms.

"Thanks Carmen." she smiled at me and said.

"You're welcome honey. I'm just so happy that you're alive that I'll even help wipe your ass for you."

We all laughed at her because we didn't expect her to say something like that.

"Thank you Carmen, but I don't think I need you to wipe my ass just yet, but if I do you'll be the first person I'll call."

She rolled her eyes at me and said " Oh shut up! You guys know what I mean."

"I wonder what would Mark say once he finds out that his sweet wife offered to touch another woman intimately." said Tamara laughing.

"He'll say ' let's take it to the bedroom and make it a threesome' he'll have a huge koolaid smile on his face as he's saying that too" said Carmen.

We all laughed and I said " Sweetheart, that's every mans dreams not just yours."

They all nodded and said "That's right!"

"How are my boys doing?" I asked

"The twins are doing just fine. They were a bit fussy for a few hours because you weren't with them. They kept calling for you and we tried to explain to them you'll be home soon but they're just too young to really understand no matter how smart those two little buggers are." said Emily

"Yeah, after a while they just cried themselves to sleep." said Tamara.

"My poor babies. Why didn't you guys call Jason? I'm sure he would of came and helped quiet them down."

"Jason was so distraught after seeing you injured and on a stretcher. We didn't want to bother him any further." Answered Carmen

"How's Jason now? Where is he? I'm surprised he's not here." I asked.

"He was here but he went home an hour ago to take a shower and a nap." said Carmen

"Yes, your mother made him go because she said he smelled like shit." said Tamara laughing

"Where's everyone now?" I asked

"Mike and Mark went back to the office to take care of a few things since Jason was here the whole time. Your parents went home and they are taking care of the twins. Your mom told us to call her once you wake up and we have to call Jason too."said Emily

"I'll call them right now." said Ems

She went into the hallway and made the calls.

Half hour later Jason came running into the room showered and looking excited.

"Arya, babe I'm so glad you're okay." He said hugging me softly so he won't hurt me.

I kissed him and he kissed me back. We put all our love and feelings into the kiss. He pulled back and put our foreheads together his hazel eyes looking into my grey eyes.

"You are never leaving my sight again. Do you hear me Arya Anderson? You are going to be by my side the rest of our lives."

"I can't be with you the whole time Jason. Let's be reasonable here because you have work and I have work. We can't work together because we both have different jobs." I explained to him

"I'm afraid if I let you out of my sight again you'll get hurt again." He said

"No one is going to ever hurt me or our family ever again Jason. Jessica is dead and Alex is in jail for a long time. We're safe now. We could live our lives peacefully now babe." I said while holding his face between my hands.

He sighed and said " Thank god she's dead. I know that sounds cruel but that's how I feel."

"I love it when you don't shave. The beard on your face makes you look so sexy and all I want to do is kiss you all day." I said kissing him all over his handsome face.

"Then I'll never shave my face for you ever again." He said smiling.

"I don't mind you shaving as long as it doesn't get hairier then this." I said touching his beard.

He nuzzled his face into my neck and it made me giggle from how ticklish it was.

"Did the doctor come in to see you since you woke up.?" He asked

"Yes,he said I can go home tomorrow if the tests he gave me come back normal."

"That's great babe!" He said.

"Officer Ron called me earlier and asked how you were doing?"

"Oh yeah?"

"I told him you were going to be just fine. He said that's great news and wishes you a speedy recovery. He said he's going to visit you when he has some free time."

"That's good! I kind of missed Ron. He's a good man when he's not being an ass of course!."

Jason shook his head and laughed.

"I love you Arya Anderson!"

"I love you too Jason Thompson!"

I kissed him once more and thought I was the luckiest woman in the whole world to have a man like him in my life.
