After that whole "reminiscing" my childhood, I was at home getting prepared to leave for Kaz's house. I put all of the things I needed and some random shit into my bag and then ran upstairs to get changed. I then changed into comfy work clothes, since Kazuichi said I'd work on the rocket with him.

'Why he wants me to work on something I have no experience with, I don't know.'

Skipping past a bit of time (because nothing really happened) I headed out the door and to Kaz's house, which only took about 5 minutes. What was weird about me walking was a heavy presence of being watched. I looked around in paranoia, but I saw nothing. I clutched my bag that was hanging over my left shoulder as I approached the door. I ringed the bell, and within 12 seconds heard a lot of dramatic feet shuffling and mumbling.

'That sounds like Kaz's voice, why the hell is he just shuffling around?'

Finally he answered the door, clearing his throat in the process.

"Hi! Uh I mean..hey...sup I guess.." he started off in a hyperactive tone, but died down once he heard how stupid he sounded.
"Hey Kaz."
His mouth dropped to a small 'o', and whispered to himself "she's gotta nickname for me? Mmmmmmmph!"
While he tried to hide his obsessive fangirling, I stared at him in confusion.
"So uh...we gonna work on the project or..?"
Kaz shook his head and stuttered a 'yeah'. He led my into his house, which was aesthetically pleasing to say the least. Everything was so beautifully designed and decorated, and was sitting so perfectly. Although it had an amazing exterior and interior, there was a bit of a vibe that rubbed off that was a bit depressing. Not so much as to you could feel it strongly, but it was lingering.

He then lead my into an attached workroom that was right beside the kitchen. The workroom was filled to the brim with tools, nuts, bolts, just about anything you could find in a workshop.
'Wow a workshop that looks like a workshop..what a shocker..'
Kaz lead me to a table set near the left side of the room. He then pulled up two stools and sat down on one.
"So where do you wanna start?" Kaz asked. I honestly had no clue.
"I don't know much about mechanics and shit, so you should probably start us off." I sat down and rolled up my sleeves.

With that, Kazuichi and I had started. We worked on the structure of the mini rocket, then the foundation of metal, next the bigger details like windows, separate sheets of metal (etc), and next the smaller details like designs and shit.
At the start, there was little conversation and all the sounds were from the little radio playing and our work. Eventually we started getting into bigger topics of conversation, and became more comfortable with each other.

"So Kaz, how'd you get into mechanics and stuff?"
"Well my parents own a bike shop downtown, so I always grew up around this kinda stuff. My obsession just grew from there."
I was surprised. I thought it was just because of the stereotypical "guys like cars and building things".
"That's actually pretty cool. And a business sounds like fun."
His mood altered. "Yeah it has its perks but no one ever comes in, and even if they did, we couldn't really do anything about it."
With that being said, the door swung open to reveal an older woman, who looked almost exactly like Soda.
She was calling his name, and once saw me and him together gave a different tone.
"Ooo sorry sweetie I didn't know you had a...friend.. who's a girl....over."
Kazuichi complained. "Moooooommmm~"
Without any hesitation, his mom rushed over to me and started shaking my hand hella violently.
(A/n his wiki says that his parents are unnamed. Rip in rest)
"Hiya there Hun! I'm Kazuichi's mom, you can call me Dee! It's so nice to see my baby all grown up and talking to girls who won't run from hi-"
"MOM LEAVE!" Kaz tried shoving his mom away. I chuckled at his embarrassment.
"Nah Kaz, let's hear more aha. I'm Chi Fujisayo. "
I shook her hand. She slid Kazuichi away and said " so do you got to school with Kazuichi?"
I nodded my head. "Yeah I'm kinda new. I'm the ultimate-" I stopped my train of thought to look behind Dee to see Kaz violently shaking his head. He started to silently plead. I kinda tilted my head and said in an unsure tone "t-the ultimate...vocalist..."
she nodded her head. "Wow you'll have to show me your skills sometime! Until then, I think I've embarrassed my son enough aha!"
"Yeah ya think.." He muttered in an out of breath tone.
Dee walked away, waving her hand in the process. She closed the door, then both of us let out a huge exhale of breath.
We both said simultaneously "that was close.."
"Why didn't you want me to tell your mom I was an assassin?"
Kaz looked at me with a dumbfounded face.
"Shit never mind.." I caught on and continued working on the rocket.
